This is a nice take on the paddle effect or 'hot rod'. The rod is well made and the writing is etched in, clear and legible. My only issue is that the overall size is a bit big for me. I am not used to it. I would guess that it is about 1/2 thick and right now is awkward in my hands to execute the paddle move. I will play with it some more, but at the moment it is sitting idle.
