Coins. Glitter. Salt. Milk. Juice. M&Ms. You can make so many things appear when you perform AmazeCups.

You show three small cups, one at a time. Each is completely empty. Snap your fingers and you can pour a stream of shiny pennies, a cascade of sprinkles, or a cupful of milk. Watch the video to see how easy this is to do.

This is one of our favorite tricks for children and family audiences. Created by German magic inventor, Werry, in the 1960s, he called it AquaCups. Now it's been enlarged and redesigned. You get…

  • Three gold-color, shotglass-sized plastic cups that will not rust, dent or scratch.
  • A larger, redesigned gimmick that’ll hold a bigger load.
  • Downloadable instructions with 13 photos and script

Best news. You can learn AmazeCups from the instructions in ten minutes. Really. No rubber covers, no palming, no steals. It’s self-contained!

Or...learn Bill Cook's three-phase routine to produce salt. First you pour a stream of salt. When you pour again, the quantity seems to increase magically. On the final pour, it fills the cup and spills over the top! Watch the video. His routine was featured the TV show, Masters of Illusion. It'll fool you--guaranteed!

Make AmazeCups part of your family show repertoire. Or, because they’ll fit in your jacket pocket, you can perform this up-close as well. Use the script that comes with the prop or use your own presentation! You’ll get ooohs and ahhhs from kids, adults--actually everyone--every time you perform it.

Customer reviews for AmazeCups

Phil
I’ve been performing Danny’s Amaze Cups for four years and its a real winner. I’ve taken Danny’s basic script and framed it around me and my son; me following my passion and my son following his. I’ve added custom music to create a heart felt piece that ALWAYS gets a huge ovation at the end. With just this simple prop and great ideas from the pros, you too will find a way to add this versatile prop to your act in now time. Get it!
Steve
Everything Danny Orleans does is just perfect for kids shows although you can use this for adult magic also. Super easy, you'll be able to perform with these cups in about ten minutes or less after watching the video. I recommend especially if you're performing for kids it's a no brainer
Ryan
I just got Danny’s AmazeCups and they are fantastic! The design is superb and the applications are limitless. For children’s entertainers there’s no end to the routines one can develop but these are great for “big kids” too! As a restaurant and bar magician I cannot wait to thrill crowds with this wonder. I highly recommend!
steve
So many possibilities with these. Very fun and easy to perform tricks with I like using coins with these
Gregory Glau
Gee, this is a good--a real worker with lots and lots of applications. Easy to do, too!
Watt
Wonderful prop with many uses. But, what's with the video instructions? Two of the five are the same thing with different titles, and one is about a Christmas Themed Cut and Restored Ribbon????
Marc
Great props with endless possibilities how you want to use them.
Steven
What a simple method for an insane effect. This pairs well with any other small gimmicks that you can make appear then perform. I do this with mint-o. Kids and adults both love it equally. I always include it by itself or in a routine for all of my shows.
Steven
This is amazing for my kid's shows. These are a bit smaller than I expected but I realized they did not need to be that large to work. This is a simple method that is easy to perform and allows you to make a gimmick appear and transfer it to your next trick.
Steven
This trick kills for my kid's shows. I love doing it as a way to start off a longer routine. My preferred routine is appearing mints with this. Then with a fire pan. Then I end with mint-o. This might be smaller than you expected. It is really good though and I would recommend it.
Gunnar
Beautiful props, much better visual quality than the material itself (plastic) would suggest. They are sturdy, not like thin disposable cups. I wonder only if the rim of the gimmick could be a touch thinner. The load volume and total size itself are carefully balanced to work even for smaller hands.
Dan
This is an excellent trick... anyone who entertains kids need to get this.
David
AmazeCups are AMAZING! This is not only a great effect for kids shows but for adults as well this is amazing. The possibilities with using AmazeCups are endless and you can create practically anything. You will receive a few different routines just to get you started but truly the ideas are all up to your imagination. Highly Recommend!
Brian
Pretty much everything AmazeKids touches is gold and this is no exception. The effect is easy to master but very effective. Teaching in the video is clear and concise and the props are easy to handle as well. For the price you really can't pass this one up.
Rick
Excellent props! Very visual, Highly recommended. Ideal for kids or adults.
Brian
Really great effect that opens up some great story lines as well. Plastic, but quality. Work great!
Lawrence
Amaze Cups is a fun prop. Glad I picked a set of these up. Well made plastic cups.
Tim
These are really cool. Organic and fun to play with.
Alan
I’ve performed this several times for children and adults, and I get great reactions every time!

There is so much that you can do with this.
I even produced a goldfish (with water) into a fish bowl! The kids were astonished!

These cups are a part of my regular children’s act and very easy to use.

You can produce, or vanish, almost anything that can fit inside the cup.

Very pleased with this purchase and shipping was fair.

Danny Orleans puts out great material for anyone interested in performing for kids.

I highly recommend this product.
Tom
Very good addition to an already great routine.
Jimmy
It's a great upgrade from Aquacups! The props are very well made and solid. The video instruction are very clear and well done with extra ideas and tips from other magicians. I have tested for my kids show and it came out with great reactions. If you are creative as me, there is an endless possibilities you can do with this gimmick! I highly recommend for those who runs out of ideas to incorporate in their kids show or even for adults.
Mike
Danny always delivers!
Curtis
AmazeCups is a brilliantly simple product! I like that it comes with a couple different ideas. Great for kids, though still a surprise for adults. I did find that liquid was very effective for pouring, while even the stick-shape sprinkles were a bit less effective for presentation. Probably the finer grainy solids are better.
Luke
I simple cannot believe how badly this fooled me. I’m assembling a new routine and this is an absolute killer for a walk around. This is one of those tricks which is angle proof in my opinion. Interesting learning this one as I fool myself when handling the cups, so much fun to be had here. I’ve only discovered Danny Orleans recently and I love how he presents.
Jody
Great prop! Simple is always better and these are simple and effective production cups! I can't wait to try these in my magic act. Easy to do, and the tutorial was easy to understand. I already have some ideas on what to produce from them.
Ron
Very well done. The salt shortage is over!
Kelly
Amazecups is one of the most adaptable gimmicks to ad to your storytelling magic repertoire. From children’s shows to adults alike this charming set of miracles will never find its way into the drawers of forgotten magic, it is a keeper and a winner.
Michael
One of the first tricks I bought as a young magician was Aqua Cups. I really liked this trick & continued performing it professionally, as an adult. Unfortunately, the cups were plastic & got worn & damaged over the years. So, I was pleasantly surprised when I found that they were being produced again. It’s a good trick & Bill Cook’s routine is very nice. However, the original Aquacups were shot-sized, easy to keep in your pocket & easy to manipulate. Amaze Cups are larger (about 3 ounces) and while they have the benefit of being able to be seen on a stage, I preferred the older version personally. In addition, Aqua Cups were numbered, which helps reinforce the idea that all 3 cups are shown empty. Amaze Cups don’t have numbers.
Michael
WOW, just great! i was searching all time for such a trick - just watching the video - gives me so much more ideas - how to use it! i am very excited to perform it. easy handling and very easy to learn! And the effect is amazing. For children an adult as well. A must have for sure!!!
Chris
This effect is really good--and the instructions are superb.

I don't do much "self-working" magic (which is, of course, an oxymoron anyway), but this one is going in my show! It's clean, effective, and instantly adaptable to a wide variety of presentations.
Ralph
The Amazecups are wonderful. They give plenty of opportunities and they are fun. I use the Dai Vernon routine for the cups and balls and then end with the water. Maybe that is a kind of overkill, but it is a lot of fun. I hope, that the Amazecups will come in a little bit bigger size and in different colors as well. For me this is a wonderful trick to entertain children and grown up at the same time.
Gordon
I gotta admit, I thought this was a kid's show trick. But the quality of the teaching and variant handlings from Bill Cook and Jeff Bibik shows that it should be so quickly dismissed. What a fun and surprisingly versatile piece of magic.
Kim
I found this little gem a good fit for my show. It's The tip on the finger wipe was quite helpful.
Jeffrey
Great for a kids' show or table hopping, if kids are there, call them JEANIE CUPS. GOOD patter for a kid's story,

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:You receive video instructions.
  • Stanley asks: How long does it take to reset?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Seconds. It would take as long as it takes to add your load of choice into a cup.
  • Damian asks: could you produce/vanish half dollar sized coins with these?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Smaller coins would be better but technically you could, yes.
  • Simon asks: Could these be used in a cups and balls routine for a surprise kicker?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:While they could theoretically work, it is likely that the routine may be a little clumsy as they aren't designed to stack as effortlessly as more traditional Cups and Balls cups.
