A masterfully elegant update on an oft-overlooked classic.
The magic drawer box is a classic of magic. It has been performed on stages around the world for decades. But, while small plastic versions of this amazing magic trick can be found in nearly every beginner magic kit, there has never been a premium close-up option available...until now.
“Anything Box” has been carefully designed to be a luxurious close-up version of the drawer box. It was developed by magician Conan Liu after he was unable to find a similar prop that met his strict requirements for both quality and versatility, while also being suitable for close-up magic performances and incredibly easy to use.
Working with a team of talented magicians, Conan developed “Anything Box”—a premium, professional quality wooden drawer box that allows you to perform all your favorite effects while also having a unique design feature that enables you to transform small objects as well.
The inner dimensions are roughly the size of a standard deck of Bicycle Playing Cards. You can produce, vanish or transform anything that fits in the space.
- Handcrafted from gorgeous real black walnut
- Polished wooden surface
- Fine copper brass handle
- Looks like a lavish collectable
Conan Liu has used “Anything Box” in countless TV appearances and corporate shows. It’s self-working and offers endless room for creativity.
Check out the full performance above to see how Conan uses his “Anything Box” to take his “invisible Deck” routine to new heights by making an “invisible” deck of cards physically appear in an empty drawer.
Limited quantities available.
NOTE: This is the box only. You must provide your own items to produce or vanish.

Community questions about Anything Box
Have a question about this product? It's possible others do too. Ask here and other Vanishing Inc. Magic customers will be able to respond with assistance! Alternatively, email us and we can help too.
Tracey asks: Can it start loaded with a full deck that is removed by the spectator? The drawer would then be closed appearing as empty. After a routine the drawer is opened and a single card would be inside. Would this work?
Daven asks: Can it also make the invisible deck disappear after the trick?
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:It could yes!
James asks: would I be able to switch one 18" silk for another with this?
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:This would be to big to switch in this box
Matthew asks: Two questions. What are the dimensions inside and out? Would I also be able to purchase a non-gaffed version?
- 1. Matthew responds:Ok I see the dimensions are addressed. My apologies. Is it possible to either buy an ungaffed version as well? Or, could I buy two of them and un-gaff one of them?
Ryan asks: The box I just received takes some effort to open and close the gimmick, making it hard to do it smoothly. Is sanding it down possible, or would it damage it too much?
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Please contact customer services and we will fix this for you.
Brandon asks: In one review it mentions that the spectator put the item in the box and closed it and then opened it themselves. Does this do the switch automatically where a spectator could be holding it or do you need to do a move similar to the traditional cheaper plastic drawer box?
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:The magician will need to open the box the first time. Afterwards, the participant can close and then then open the box, apparently having performed the appearance of the contents in the drawer. While the box will not stand up to heavy examination, it will pass as innocent when casually handled.
David asks: In the description you mention that there is a full performance of the Invisible Deck routine. I can't seem to find it. Did I miss it?
- 1. Jim responds:That seems to be a bug. Try watching it here: https://vimeo.com/585991335/902d4a0a65
Kenny asks: How much set up is involved? How fast can you move from one trick to the next?
- 1. Jim responds:Minimal setup, but it would be done before your performance.
Miguel asks: Can be used as a switch device? Let's say a red card box into a blue one?
- 1. Chris responds:No. You may be able to switch a single card for another one. But certainly not a full deck.
Richard asks: What are the overall (outside) measurements ( H, W, and L) of the box? What are the inside (i.e. load compartment) measurements ( H, W, and L) of the box?
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Outside: 4" x 4 7/8" x 2" Inside: 2 5/8" x 3 7/8" x 3/4"
