A miracle that fits in your pocket. You're going to love this diabolically clever method for always knowing the location of a hidden object.

Four metal cups are placed in front of your participant. You hand them a die and, while you look away, they place it under any cup they'd like. Without giving you any hints, they then freely mix up the cups. Despite these impossible odds, you're able to immediately identify which cup is hiding the die.

"Devil's Cups" by Gabriel Werlen is a remarkable piece of magic and mentalism that uses a safe and foolproof method.

  • No electronics
  • No fishing questions or probing
  • The participant has a free choice of which cup to hide the die under
  • They can mix the cups as much as they want
  • Reliable method allows you to perform with confidence
  • Can even use other objects besides the die if you want

You'll receive four specially-made cups, three different colored dice and a convenient carry pouch. The included video instructions teach you the main routine as well as a variety of bonus handlings, including ways to involve multiple participants or even divine the color of the dice. Perform them separately or combine them into a powerhouse act.

Video is in French with English dub.

Customer reviews for Devil's Cups

Jeff
Not as presented. Don't waste your money.
Paul
The effect on the spectator is what you see in the trailer, however the trailer is a bit misleading. The spectator is shown to be freely shuffling the cups however that’s not what really happens. Nice props and can use any small object. Fully examinable with nothing to find.
Diego
Great little prop to carry around and do a few mentalism related effects. The routine is not hard to learn and once you learn the method you'll be able to come up with a lot of creative presentations.

The props are ok. Not the greatest quality but not the worst.

If you want to get the most out of the props I'll highly recommend that you also get Gabriel's book: The Green Neck system as he goes into much more details than in the videos and presents other creative ideas.
