I am an avid Paddle Trick fan and collector with an inventory reaching probably close to two hundred pieces. Of course the traditional Hot Rod certainly has its place at the top of the list and various Hot Rods are always a part of my EDC arsenal. In January of 2024 I purchased Rich Hill’s MAHOGANY HOT ROD from Vanishing, Inc. and I have gladly carried and used it with rave responses since then. Recently, I ordered Rich Hill’s EBONY HOT ROD and thanks to the excellent customer service provided by Vanishing, Inc., it arrived in short order. Once the secured package was opened, I was delightfully pleased to find the 3 and 3/4 inch handcrafted wooden ebony Hot Rod to be even more stunning than I expected, and my expectations were already high. The large vividly colored embedded 7mm Swarovski Crystal Jewels are very impressive and set the Rich Hill Hot Rods in a class all their own. I deem the traditional Hot Rod to be one of Magic’s most perfect pocket tricks and should be considered a part of any magician's close-up repertoire. Rich Hill’s Mahogany Hot Rod and Ebony Hot Rod from Vanishing, Inc. are very highly recommended. REGRETS: My only regret is that I didn’t purchase the Ebony Hot Rod as the companion to the Mahogany Hot Rod sooner!
