If you like bar bets then this book is for you! This book is packed full of scams that a shyster (like me) will love. With such a wide variety of items presented you are sure to find something in this tome to your liking! Bob is an extremely colorful, witty and humorous writer. It's quite the pleasure to read.

Bob Farmer’s Bammo Flim-Flam Conglomeration is a fun filled smorgasbord of scams, cons, and bar bets – many with a magic theme. Given the enormity of the collection, most readers should find a few items they may actually use. Many of the entries use cards, coins, and dice. The book is clearly written, illustrated as needed, and an enjoyable read. There are few card magic items such as an excellent false shuffle that is worthy of practice.

I’m glad I got this. It’s a treasure trove of ideas. That said, a lot of the material is bare bones or not really worked out in full. What this means is that you’ll have to put in some work to flesh things out or develop a full routine. For example there’s some material on dice monte. That sounds exciting but then as written in the book it’s simply a way to fool someone once after a series of moves. If you want to make a full routine you’ll have to invent one. Other chapters are like that as well.

This is a fascinating book. Not really a magic book but the principles taught in the book translates well into magic use cases. Been reading it all day long as it's a very entertaining and fascinating book. It's well produced and reads really easily. Absolutely incredible tome of a book. Highly recommend it!
