Its a cool effect... But not only does it require a diy, the diy can be confusing for people not familiar with "ET". If it is pulled off right/correct, I think it would be an amazing magic trick for anyone to see!

David asks: Would I be able to use this trick to propose to my girlfriend? From what I read about this product, I'd like to pull a real deck of cards out of this box, put a few cards on the table, write "marry me" on the sticker, then make the engagement ring magically appear.
