The "Light and Heavy Pen" by Wayne Fox is a totally unique effect. At your command, a seemingly innocent marker pen becomes too difficult to hold without completely weighing down your participant's arms. So much so, eventually, they won't even be able to lift the pen or their hand off the table.

I'm middle of the road on this trick. Iv been watching to video over and over again. I'm more of a slight of hand guy over a mentalism and this trick leans more towards mentalism In a heavey way. IF your a mentalism kind if worker right up your alley 10 out-of 10. As someone who's never touched mentalism ehhhh.

The Light/Heavy Pen is an interesting effect. IMHO it is more for the mentalist than a magician. Wayne Fox says that this is at least a four or five minute routine at best. Although I haven’t performed it I am hesitant to commit that much time in a show for this effect. I see doing this at a table (maybe after dinner with friends) but it still may be difficult because of the “control” needed for the participant.
