LS Dice

The product is really well made. I have no issues with mine. I am still trying to find a use case for this other than the force. The magnet is too strong for a chop cup routine. I am sure there are multiple uses for this, just need to be creative about it. It is pretty expensive, but that said it is well made.

Honest Review of of the LS Dice that I received.

I purchased the Chop Dice set from Vanishing Inc. to use with a chop-style leather dice cup I already own, and from a functionality standpoint, the product works exactly as I hoped. The magnetic feature is strong, responsive, and perfectly calibrated for chop-cup style routines with dice—no complaints there at all. In terms of performance utility, these dice absolutely deliver.

However, the set I received had a significant cosmetic issue. The two dice are not identical in appearance. The gimmicked die has a noticeable flaw: a discolored line running across the face with the 6 pip and continuing onto the face with the 2 pip. I’m unsure whether this resulted from the gimmicking process or from the paint application, but the difference is visible enough that anyone comparing the two dice side-by-side would immediately spot it. Given the nature of chop routines, the dice are often handled openly, so aesthetic consistency is important.
While I still plan to use the set—because the functionality is excellent—I do feel that at a price point of $50 for two dice, the craftsmanship should be flawless. The performance aspects are strong, but the quality control on the cosmetic side fell short in my case. I did try to clean it with a "magic eraser" and it made no difference.

If the production issues were addressed, this would be a 5‑star product. As delivered, it’s a useful but imperfect set.
