"Lucky Star" by Hanson Chien was first created over a decade ago. It started as a simple flourish before transforming into one of his favorite rubber band magic tricks to perform.
You start by showing a normal rubber band and creating a star shape with one hand. This is just a fun bit of easy sleight of hand. But, then, the rubber band magically transforms into a true star-shaped rubber band in the spectator's hand. This star rubber band can be given to them as a souvenir.
"Lucky Star" comes with detailed instructions by Hanson Chien that include a bonus routine from Bacon Fire called "Real Star 2.0."
