I thoroughly enjoy sponge ball magic and have been performing sponge ball routines for many years. I use four sponge balls in a close-up Benson Bowl routine but I always carry two or three sponge balls for those welcomed impromptu opportunities which arise where a EDC arsenal comes in handy. A suggestion from a magician friend prompted me to buy a bag of fifty 1.5 inch red sponge balls so a couple of sponge balls could be given to a youthful spectator helper upon completion of the effect if appropriate. They may not remember the magician but this might help them remember the magic! I also wanted to have a large number of sponge balls to produce from a Dove Pan during parlor magic venues. The bag of fifty 1.5 inch red sponge balls by Murphy’s Magic and offered at a very reasonable price by Vanishing, Inc. was purchased and arrived in short order thanks to Vanishing, Inc.’s excellent customer service. The sponge balls are professionally packed in a very nice plastic zip lock type bag for transport and storage. The sponge balls are the perfect size, very soft and seem to maintain their shape after use. Despite being everything a magic sponge ball should be, I was surprised and somewhat disappointed that they are a dull darker color and certainly not the vibrant bright red color that I expected from Murphy’s Magic. They are totally functional and I will use them as a production item and as give-always, but for my more significant close-up performances, I plan to invest in a set (or two) of four 1.5 inch red professional premium Murphy’s Magic sponge balls.
I really enjoy performing sponge ball magic and always carry sponge balls as a part of my EDC arsenal. I primarily use red sponge balls but wanted to invest in sponge balls of various colors to expand and enhance my sponge ball routines. I recently ordered a set of four very reasonably priced 1.5 inch BLUE sponge balls by Murphy’s Magic and offered by Vanishing, Inc. which arrived promptly thanks to Vanishing, Inc.’s excellent customer service. The four sponge balls were safety and securely packed in a sturdy cardboard box. The sponge balls are super soft, easy to manipulate, maintain their shape after use, and are a surprisingly vivid and absolutely stunning color of blue. I am very impressed!! A professionally presented, detailed and very informative on-line video tutorial is available outlining handling, routines and sponge ball upkeep and maintenance. With these impressive BLUE Murphy’s Magic sponge balls in hand, I plan to shortly order sets of red, green, yellow and orange sponge balls as well.
They come loosely packed in boxes, so they won't be squished when you receive them or store them.
