Many years ago John Bannon came up with the idea of producing a pool eight ball. David Penn fell in love with that effect, and created several variations that he has performed for years.

He had one problem.

Regular holdouts for balls didn't work for him, and having to load from a pocket is clumsy. He had an idea for making a magnetic eight ball. But he couldn't do it.

Fast forward to today, and by collaborating with TCC, the "Magnetic 8 Ball" has been born.

Made from a real eight ball, this feels and looks like a what it is—a pool ball. But it's magnetic! You'll also get a magnetic holder, that is covered with leather. This can be attached anywhere, with no risk of damage to clothing because there's no safety pins.

The benefit of this solution is the steal is lightning fast with no funny moves. You simple roll your hand over the ball and it's yours. Smoothly gliding into your hand, whenever and wherever you want it.

This JUST WORKS! With the excellent video instruction you cannot fail with this! Completely convincing and very surprising. More magic needs to be like this!

The first thing you need to know is that this is not a regulation size ball, it is about half the size of a normal 8 ball. However, it fits comfortably in the hand and is easier to hide. The magnet is strong and can be used to hold other small props as well. The video is brief as it is what it is. I do think with some imagination you can come up with some fun bits, such as a card showing a printed 8 ball changing into a real ball! A nice small prop that is fun to have.

Would absolutely recommend this 8 ball, it is smaller than a regular 8 ball but personally I actually really like that being that it’s easier to hide. I also would recommend getting this if you perform I didn’t teach you by Kyle Purnell. It makes the final phase significantly easier and in my opinion makes the whole trick better especially if you are a walk around magician.
