MasterCon by Greg Wilson is a killer new close-up effect that makes the perfect everyday carry. If you’ve ever wanted to get the credit for pickpocketing without the work, MasterCon is exactly what you need.

Here’s what happens. You show your audience two different credit cards, one red and one black. You explain to them that, with a little sleight of hand, you can make them switch places almost like magic.

But maybe they’re skeptical. After all, pickpockets take things from wallets. To prove you’re the real deal, they can choose one of the cards, and it instantly vanishes from your wallet and appears in your back pocket!

But maybe they still don’t believe you. What would be really impressive is to do it in their pocket. For the final phase, you place the red card in their pocket and the black card in your wallet. Without them feeling a thing, you reveal that the cards have switched places!

If you’re thinking that this level of pickpocketing is only for sleight-of-hand masters, don’t worry. MasterCon requires no sleight of hand, as the carefully designed cards and special wallet do all the work for you. All you have to do is present it, and enjoy all the credit!

You’ll get everything you need to perform MasterCon, including a stylish, genuine leather switching wallet, premium credit card gimmicks, and online instructions from Greg himself. As a bonus, you’ll also learn “Credit Card Roulette”, which uses the same set of gimmicks in a fun, fast-paced, roulette routine.

MasterCon is so good it’s criminal. Get it today at Vanishing Inc.

Andrew
In terms of the quality of the cards in this set, they're good. I would say the quality is higher than the cards provided in The Merger Pack, but not quite as nice as the cards provided in Overdraft by Paul Fowler. Those really are the standard in quality of magic credit cards to me. That said this comes with some stuff you're not getting in Overdraft, namely an extra card, a leather switch wallet, which Greg says is made by Johnny Wong in the explanation, and most importantly, Greg's excellent routining. The cards have one critical difference that makes it possible to do the routines in here that you can't do with Overdraft. The pickpocketing routine is great, though I should note the version taught is different than what's shown in the trailer. It's only slight differences but strange nonetheless that they don't go over how to do the trick as shown in the sales video. There's a monte routine taught as well that's really simple, and really fun. Overall I'm happy with the purchase. I leave the cards set up in the Orphic wallet, which is my everyday wallet so I don't need to carry the extra switch wallet provided here, and I'm always ready to go.

Great props quality (the CC and the wallet) and, as usual, a great tutorial by Greg Wilson. This is a fun gimmick with lots of potential, destined to become an EDC.

The only reason for the GOOD rating is that, in my subjective opinion, I would have liked the credit cards to have a bit more vibrant colors and greater contrast between the two styles!

    • 2. Diego responds:Yeah, and for the price I can buy another full set of Overdraft and use one of the 100 switch wallets I already own
  • Vikas asks: So is this completely self working?

    • 1. Jim responds:It's as close to self-working as any performance gets.
