We love non-card effects that involve mints. This one fits the bill and is practical and amazing. The effect is that a Tic Tac box is displayed and a coin is borrowed from a spectator. The coin is placed on the performer's hand as the box is shown empty.
The magician strikes the box onto the coin, and the coin is seen to VISIBLY penetrate into the box. Even more perplexing, the box is now given to the spectator to examine - the spectator is unable to remove the coin without removing the lid from the box!
