P.O.V. PAD

A cleverly-gimmicked peek pad that solves one of the biggest problems plaguing other peek devices.

Brought to you by two of the most creative minds in magic, João Miranda and Julio Montoro, "P.O.V. Pad" allows you to deceptively peek at anything written or drawn. However, instead of needing to illogically place the paper in another wallet or holder to get the peek, everything happens in real-time.

Every action is motivated. There is no weird or suspicious moments. You'll know all the information instantly. Once you have your peek, you can even tear the paper off and give it right to the spectator. It's not an impression pad, so they'll be completely unaware that you already have everything you need.

This is a super practical tool that fits in your pocket and can be easily refilled with regular mini sticky notes anytime you need. You'll learn multiple different ways to use and handle the "P.O.V. Pad". This includes four showstopping close up magic and mentalism routines.

Direct Thought

The spectator writes down any number between 1 and 1,000. Then, by simply touching their forehead, you are able to impossibly divine the number. This is the effect most prominently featured in the trailer and the reactions speak for themselves.

Mirror Routine

You are able to perfectly mirror a spectator's actions by re-creating their drawing in real-time. A super strong effect that doesn't require any expensive electronics.

Drawing Duplication

This is João's favorite effect from the whole project! The spectator is asked to draw anything on a post-it note. The magician grabs another pad and a marker and says that they will try to guess what the spectator drew.

To the spectator's surprise the magician fails. The magician removes the post-it with the incorrect prediction, crumples it into a little ball, places it inside a wine glass and swirls it around.

When the spectator now opens the crumpled paper, they find that the magician's incorrect drawing has magically transformed into their drawing.

Card Trick Kicker

The spectator thinks of a number between 1 and 6 and writes it on the "P.O.V Pad." They then remove 6 cards from the deck, shuffle them and remember the card that is at their thought-out number (the number they wrote on the pad).

The spectator then places the cards face up, one by one, in the deck. The magician squares up the deck and spreads them on the table, to reveal all the indifferent cards are now face down, except the spectator's chosen card.

As an extra kicker, the magician turns the chosen card to reveal a post-it sticked to it with the spectator's initial thought-of number written in it.
