What is "Repo"?

You introduce a simple key and explain how it unlocks a world of imagination. As you say this, a chain necklace is produced seemingly out of thin air. In the blink of an eye, you then visually link the key and chain together.

Before they have a chance to recover from this miracle, you stun them again by showing how the key has now disappeared.

Then the real fun begins!

They hold out their hand and you place the necklace into their palm. As you do, it transforms back into the key right in front of their eyes. This brain-breaking moment devastates even the most difficult audiences.

As a stunning extra finale, you can then take things a step further by wrapping the linked chain and key around their wrist. You then pluck the key off right under their noses, toss it in the air, and watch their eyes pop out of their head as it lands back on the chain around their wrist. Just watched the tutorial but don't have the items in hand, I'm sure they will be fine quality. This is my first purchase from Tobias and I think he is a creative genius from this alone.

A very smart effect, the main routine from the trailer is non stop magic. An appearance, a linking key, a super clean vanish and a transformation that happens right in the spectators hand.

This may be one of the best opening effects for close up I've seen in a long long time. It looks like real magic, not just some card trick.

Dostal does it again with an absolute banger of a trick! Lots of variations and handlings to play with. It’s about as fun to practice as it is to perform.

The things you get with the trick are great quality. The tutorial shows you a lot of different handlings. The problem for me is that I cannot do this in a strolling set. Many times in big corporate walk arounds, people all all around you. Everyone must be in front or the trick is exposed. The marketing video is just that... marketing. He does the trick for a group of willing participants who are all in front. Keep that in mind. Perfect for social media for sure, and it'll be perfect for a parlor show. I gave it 5 stars because of the quality of the product and the tutorial.

This is really well thought out! Gorgeous visuals and looks super clean from the right angles of course but theyre pretty good considering! Excellent quality. Modular nature of effects allows easy customization. The provided examples are also awesome as is. Highly recommend this!

I received my pack yesterday. It's exactly what I expected and I'm so glad that, thanks to Tobias Dostal, I can include another great magic trick, that is no card trick, in my repertoire.
The props are well done, the handling is easy and the video explains everything you need to know to do the routine.
There's just one thing that I don't like is that there is just one gimmick included. I would have prefereed to pay a bit more and have two more spare gimmicks.

I love everything about this trick. It is a great idea, beautifully executed and the explanations and performance ideas are well delivered. My measure of a new trick is always my wife's reaction (from bored to bewildered), and this was off-the-scale beautiful.

Tobias is a genius. He creates such beautiful, practical, mind-bending magic and Repo is no exception.
This is by far the best "bang for your buck" you're gonna get. Many custom quality props that will last a lifetime, in a great package with top notch video instructions. Like his other effects, he doesn't just teach you how to do it - he teaches you how HE does it. And that's what makes this great routine an exceptional piece of wonderment that your audiance will not soon forget. I was hooked as soon as I linked and unlinked the key from the chain in front of the mirror. It looks like real magic and incerdibly easy to perform. How can you beat that for $60? You can't.

This is a great effect and very practical. There are many ideas that can be applied to this effect, and while I'm happy to have bought it, I'm quite disappointed in a minor, yet significant detail.

The pieces are very small, and while it can be transported in the method suggested by Tobias, it's also very easy to lose/damage the pieces. Once the method and original materials have been purchased, it would be ideal if additional materials could be sold & bought for less, because of how small they are. I understand the whole thing is $60, but I really don't wanna buy a replacement gimmick for $60.

This is an excellent product, really well made and good value for money as it actually facilitates more than one effect. The tutorial is excellent. It would have been nice to have received some extras as losing or dropping these items would be fairly easy as they are quite small. That said highly recommend this.

Real truth in advertising. This is as good as it looks and requires minimal (if any) sleight of hand. The method is all but undetectable and clever. Tutorial is great and presented with genuine enthusiasm for this effect by Tobias. You are given multiple props/gadgets that allow for broad flexibility in presentation. I tend to review on this site for amateur hobbyists, since I am not a professional magician. To all hobbyists/enthusiasts out there I have some advice: this one is a keeper!

Love this effect although practice is required as the angles are quite tight and limited. Best for just a very small group of people and for you to maybe "take a couple of steps back" when performing. However, was not disappointed with this, you just have to be selective of the amount of people you are performing to and your surroundings. Nice work Tobias 👍

I have not performed Repo yet. I think it's an incredible effect. The promo video is not misleading--it looks exactly like what you see there.

I don't think the angles are restrictive so much as you have to be aware of them. I don't see why you couldn't perform this surrounded (as long as you were ignoring the people behind you). The method is extremely clever and quite simple. I've used something similar, although never in a million years would I have come up with this application.

The price is reasonable for what you get. The instructions are clear. You're taught a number of variations, none of them technically demanding. You receive everything you need. You could really hit people on an emotional level with this.

Knowing what I know about Repo, I certainly would buy it again.
