Rubik Remembered

Mark Elsdon has been making a name for himself around the UK as the guy that can solve a Rubik's Cube blindfolded. He's got so good at it that he can solve it in less than two minutes. It makes for a really strong closer to any close-up or stage routine and is really quite amazing to see.

But, it's a trick of course. In fact, it's such a great trick that he has previously charged £300 (roughly $700) to teach it to people on a one-on-one basis. Now, the entire technique is taught on this DVD, which is much more affordable.

Be warned; there's a lot to learn, but Mark teaches it well. Essentially, you need to learn how to solve the Rubik's Cube before you can do it confidently blindfolded. From what I can see, the technique that Mark describes on the DVD is no more difficult than the basic one that comes in the Rubik's Cube instructions, so you should pick it up after a few weeks practice.

This DVD doesn't come with any props, so you'll need to buy a Rubik's Cube (available from any toy store) and a blindfold.
