Statue Vanish

The most iconic illusion of all time is now available in an amazing close-up version.
David Copperfield made history when he vanished the Statue of Liberty in 1983. Now, decades later, Roy Kueppers has developed a way for you to re-create this illusion in your close-up set by using a New York state quarter.
A New York state quarter with the statue showing is held on your open palm (or on the table). You then briefly cover it with a flat, open hand, just like Copperfield did with his curtain. When the hand is removed, the statue has completely disappeared. The coin can be immediately handed out for examination.
You then retrieve the coin and cover it one more time. Miraculously, once your hand is removed, the statue reappears.
"If I had this 40 years ago, I would have saved a fortune! I'll take two... one for backup." David Copperfield
"Statue Vanish" by Roy Kueppers comes with everything you need to start performing right out of the box. This includes his "Sneaky Bandit" utility device.

Brian asks: I want to respectfully clarify that the Statue of Liberty vanish quarter effect currently being sold was originally created by me, Brian Rivera. I developed the concept, method, and working prototype, and had the item manufactured through Roy Keppers. After manufacturing the initial run, the effect began being sold commercially under a different magician’s name, without my permission and without credit for the original creation. I have documentation and dated correspondence showing the timeline of development and manufacture. I am not posting this to create conflict or harm anyone’s business. I simply want proper acknowledgment for the work and creativity I put into developing this effect. It’s important in the magic community that creators are credited accurately, and I hope this helps set the record straight. If any dealers or performers need verification or would like to see my documentation, I am more than happy to share it privately. Thank you for understanding and for maintaining integrity within our craft. — Brian Rivera Creator of the Statue of Liberty Vanish Quarter
- 1. Jim responds:It would be wise to contact Roy or Murphy's.
- 2. Brian responds:Unfortunately that has produced no results or credit to me the creator. Thank you for your response.
