Unfortunately, "intimate magic" may come off as "creepy" for some performers and it is required to accomplish the dirty work. While potential workarounds are discussed for close-up performances, this effect is intended for more formal shows. The thinking for this effect is interesting, but its drawbacks means I will use other methods.
