Sucker Punch (Mark Southworth)
Sucker Punch (Mark Southworth)

As many magicians know, coin gaffs can take traditional coin magic to extreme levels, yet they traditionally come with a hefty price tag. Mark Southworth took the best of the best in coin gaffs and infused them into a custom set of poker chips for a fraction of the cost. Sucker Punch is more than just a high quality yet inexpensive alternative to traditional coin gaffs. Within this single box is a sleek and elegant fourteen-piece poker chip set that empowers you to create an endless array of miracles like you would with any of those four hundred dollar sets of coin gaffs. Vanishes, productions, color changes, transpositions, and penetrations, just about any trick you've ever wanted to perform with coins, are all within the fistful of impossibilities that you can perform with Sucker Punch!
Sucker Punch boldly solves a problem that has plagued copper and silver coin routines - contrast. Compared to their coin counterparts, the marked contrast and larger size of the red and blue poker chips is far more striking and visible to larger audiences, making this the perfect tool for any magician looking to hit an audience hard with copper and silver coin magic.
And just to get you started, Eric Jones offers his coin mastery to teach you six uber-visual yet practical effects that you can perform with the Sucker Punch set. Eric guides you through the nuances and intricacies of Sucker Punch in an hour long detailed online instruction. Whether you're a first time novice or well-versed master, Eric Jones will inspire you to take the work included with Sucker Punch and combine it with routines that you may already perform to make this all your own.
Sucker Punch includes:
- 3 Fly - A classic 3 fly routine
- Sun & Moon - A copper/silver coin routine adapted for the Sucker Punch set
- Circular Change - A simple yet beautiful color change
- In the Hands Change - A poker chip transposition that happens in the spectator's hand
- Trinity - A very clean production and vanish of three poker chips
- Through - A poker chip through glass penetration that you have to see to believe
- Fourteen-piece poker chip set - you'll have to find this one out for yourself!
"The poker chip through table is real magic."
- Akira Fuji
"Sucker Punch is a real world answer for those who want to perform gaffed coin magic for a fraction of the cost of traditional coin sets."

Customer reviews for Sucker Punch (Mark Southworth)
Wonderful chips with awesome routines.

I spend most of my time with card magic, so Sucker Punch is the best choice for me to begin with coin magic.
Pros:
As a beginner, I don’t want to spend too much on expensive coins. You will receive 4 red and 4 blue regular chip, 2 red and 2 blue shell, 2 red and 2 blue magnetic chip. $40 and you will learn a bunch of useful and impressive coin tricks.
Eric Jones was every detail-oriented and the instruction video was clear.
You can even flash 2 sides of the shell without being suspected.
You can also peel off the decal and pain with a different color.
Cons:
The coins are not high quality made…. You cannot expect too much from $40 set of coins. If you like better quality coins, you may want to look for Tango coin.

If you are already adept at coin magic you probably won't learn a lot from this set, but I recommend this wholeheartedly to anyone just getting started.

Chris asks: Hi - in a previous response to one of the questions there is mention of a template that allows us to print our own decals. Is this available? I didn’t receive this with my order. If not, can someone pint me in the right direction to be able to get my own decals/stickers for these?
- 1. Jim responds:In the instructions area of your account ( https://www.vanishingincmagic.com/account/instructions/ ), look for the link and password for Sucker Punch. Use those, and you can find the template if you scroll down past the videos.
- 2. William responds:Check my answer to the first question. There may be extra stickers in the box.
manuel asks: Good morning all is it possible to order you stickers for the poker chip ? Thank you in advance cordially Manuel
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:
justine asks: Can you please tell me if the poker chips are the same size as a Morgan dollar. Also what is the weight of 1 of them. I have some poker chips that I got when I was in Vegas and they have metal in them to help give them some weight because the plastic isn't very heavy. Do these have metal inside? Thanks for your time.
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Since we work remotely, this is not easy for us to answer. My suggestion is for you to order them and check them out in your own hands. If they don't live up to your expectations, we have a very good return policy (and I will approve a refund or store credit, as you prefer).
Michael asks: They come with the box and the chips??
- 1. Sgkyduyen responds:They come with box, chips, some gaff chips, and an online instruction video
David asks: After a full day with the gimmicks I cannot get the slit chip to work at all. Mark mentions stickers but not where from?
- 1. Sgkyduyen responds:Please email to Magic@vanishingincmagic.com to get a replacement.
Ray asks: Wondering if the chips have decals on them or it they are painted. Wear and tear is a concern and I'm afraid of labels holding up. Thanks!
- 1. Sgkyduyen responds:The chips have decals on them, you also receive the template so you can print the decals by yourself
- 2. William responds:Check in the box under the insert holding the chips. My set had 4 extra blue and 4 extra red stickers under there. I always look under the packaging when I buy something. (Not necessarily magic stuff)
