An exciting and visual icebreaker for close-up magic performers. You instantly transform a coin into a real lollipop that can be handed out. “Super Sucker” by Rizki Nanda is the perfect anytime, anywhere magic trick that ends with a sweet souvenir.

You start with one of the most classic magic tricks of all time: producing a coin from behind someone’s ear. Then things start to take a truly magical twist as you take a “magic wand” and stick it to the end of the nickel with a touch. Then, with a quick shake, the coin transforms into a lollipop. One more shake, and now the lollipop has visually wrapped itself.

The lollipop can be instantly handed out. They’ll be shocked when then unwrap it to find that it is a real lollipop. It’s a sweet treat they can enjoy during the rest of your performance.

“Super Sucker” is so easy to do. The special gimmick comes ready to be used with a US Nickel and the very basic moves required are well within the range of any beginner. You’ll be performing this ultra-visual effect right away. It’s simple enough for beginners, while remaining practical and powerful enough for professionals.

Don’t let its simplicity and quirky theme fool you though. “Super Sucker” gets equally big reactions with kids as it does with executives at corporate gigs. Nothing beats the moment when they unwrap the lollipop to learn it’s a real lollipop they can enjoy!

Add a super sweet trick to your close-up magic set with “Super Sucker” by Rizki Nanda!

Currently only available in a US Nickel version.

Customer reviews for Super Sucker

William
Got this yesterday, immediately ordered a bag of cherry dum dums from Amazon, and tried it out on a couple of 9 year olds at a kids karaoke party at the next door neighbor's house this evening. The kids were astonished (and so were their parents). "Is this real? Can I really eat it? How did you wrap it so fast"?! A nice little simple trick that's easy and fun, especially when done for youngsters, though the adults were baffled as well.

I do a lot of kids shows so when another magician showed me this, I knew I needed to have it. It's a great one-on-one trick which ends with a nice giveaway. It's very visual and surprising and it's easy to carry around and easy to reset for multiple performances (stock up on the lollypops!). It's a little angley, meant to be done head on for one person so if other people are watching a little to the side or looking from a higher or lower vantage point, they may see what's going on. From the right angle though, it looks like real magic. Very fun!

  • Darren asks: Hi, can you use Chupa Chups as you cant get Dum Dums in the UK. Is Chupa Chups the same size stick?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:You might be able to use the Chupa Chup minis but the color of the lollipops are slightly different.
  • Ben asks: I have the same question about lollipop refills: do you have to buy a particular brand of lollipop? Is there advice about the best lollies to use in the tutorial?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:The best lollipop for this gimmick is the Dum Dum brand.
  • Garett asks: Will this need "refills" or can you use lollipops purchased from the store? Can it be modified to use non-USD coins (size permitting), ex: Canadian nickels?

    • 1. Jeff responds:I got 75 strawberry (correct matching color) dum dums from Amazon for $12
    • 2. William responds:It can't be modified unless you deliberately break the gimmick and attach a different coin, but of course that runs the risk of ruining the gimmick.
