Sitting on the wall with this one to some extent. The idea is great but I wish it had been a touch larger to use. The special "cover" is a touch flimsy and yes I can see prolonged use damaging this so it won't be usable anymore, so yes care should be taken in the handling. Even after a few attempts, I don't think that anything folded more than once will keep it in place or give it away when you make that special move etc... With larger items and folds it is clumsy. If you look carefully at the video you can see just that moment hesitation. Coins are good, billets are fine but anything less than thin playing cards makes it...awkward. BUT again better magicians may be able to have it placed well and centered.

Clever device, works well, and fun to use. I took off one star because the gimmick is a bit fragile and can be bent if not careful, which would render it unusable.

I purchased this a while back and just realized I never reviewed it. I mean, I don't like reviewing things before actually using them in performance, which I have not yet done (only because of covid) but why did I think of it now and decide to now? Well, I'll start with that. The main part of this prop, which is the dish itself is EXTREMELY durable! I found out by accident. I was practicing a clean-up movie I'm working on for my routine so that l can almost immediately hand it out for a brief examination. I was practicing over a hard concrete floor. Forgetting my hands are what they used to be, I dropped it. It was a HARD landing.
I thought for sure I was out $45 and would need a new one, in that fraction of a second. I was shocked when I picked it up that it was not only intact, but without a scratch! It immediately reminded that I need to review this thing even though I haven't used it in an actual performance and probably won't until audiences are feeling extra safe, post pandemic.
I certainly can't wait!
I have had a favorite routine in my act for several years. I love the routine and it fries people every time (I believe) but it has a sleight of hand switch that I've always felt could look cleaner and more fair if I never had to physically touch the bill.
As soon as I saw the ad/video for this, it all started to come together in my head. After getting it, I discovered through practice that it is probably the PERFECT solution for my problem.
I understand that most people may not be able to make sense out if using this in a practical way. I know that is a worry for many, but if you can make it work, as I have and found it fits so well into my routine, this thing is a well made device that I think will hold up just fine for a long time!
I feel like my switch/motivation is super clean and justified with this, as well as my use of the dish itself.
I can't wait to try it in the real world and am confident it is going to help make frying those minds even easier!

On this Gimmick there are various reviews, between negative and positive, like all gimmicks. I can guarantee it's done pretty well and does the job excellently. If used correctly it lasts a lifetime. I recommend it, even if you run with people close.

Just finished evaluating and working with this product using different ideas and items I must say in highly impressed with the reactions I get from my spectators as one person stated I've never seen real magic before but I'm a believer now I've got a feeling I'll be ordering a second one because as much request I get from this one it's going to wear out fast.
