The magician places a regulation die on top of a solid metal sheet, and covers the die with a cloth, to hold it in place. The die is unable to move in any direction. Upon the magician's command, the die visually penetrates through the metal sheet and falls into the glass below! Your audience can see the die through the cloth up until the last moment, as it slowly penetrates downward. The magical effect is stunning! This is a pocket-sized stage illusion that you can share with audiences, right in front of their eyes.

The effect is excellent and very easy to do, everyone, especially children, love to see the penetration in front of their eyes, it makes an incredible effect, only I found the gimmick a little fragile, but it is still impressive!

At one of the General Sessions at the 2025 Magic Live! Angelo Carbone presented several of his rejected prototypes to the audience. He was a featured speaker because he is a regular contributor to Tenyo. Without exception, each of the tricks he presented were excellent and the methods very clever. As I sat and watched him perform each of his prototypes, I was completely baffled.
After each presentation, Mr. Carbone revealed the method which surprised the audience as to the simplicity and cleverness of each of his rejected prototypes. As I sat in the audience, I wondered why the tricks he presented was not accepted by Tenyo.
I have had a few Tenyo tricks in the past and enjoyed them immensely. After Mr. Carbone's presentation, it renewed my interest in Tenyo products so this is one I purchased along with other things from my last VI order and because of the quality and cleverness of Tenyo tricks, it has sparked interest to begin a collection of Tenyo products.
This trick works exactly as the ad video and the method is ingeniously simple. Typically each Tenyo trick resembles a toy; however, this one a little better than a toy and I think it would do well for those who do walk-around magic. It is well constructed and of high quality construction.
