A gorgeous, professional quality take on the classic magic puzzle concept.

"The Ultimate Puzzle" was designed with pros and collectors in mind. It's constructed with stunning rosewood and looks like a true work of art.

You start by showing how the puzzle pieces are neatly arranged in the rectangular frame. One of the pieces is removed, yet the remaining pieces still make up a perfect rectangle. This is repeated with a second and third piece.

The craziest part is that the pieces don't just make up a rectangle. They seemingly take up the same surface area and fit in the same wooden frame.

No secret moves are required. Nothing is added or stolen. The reassemblies are squeaky clean. If you wanted, you can even perform the more traditional style routine where pieces are added instead of removed.

I LOVE the Winston Freer puzzle. Been playing with variants and possible presentations for years. THIS is the best version I've found. It allows a more convincing presentation than the original and looks like a collector's item rather than a magic trick. The effect is subtle — it's not for every audience — but I'll never forget my reaction when I first saw it. Utterly impossible! It contradicts everything we learned in geometry class. It defies explanation. I love puzzles almost as much as I love magic. This is probably the only effect I do that I STILL can't explain in full. I write this review just after ordering a backup. A niche item for most magicians; an object of almost endless fascination for me.
