Customer reviews for Triple Tango Ultimate Coin
If you want to add this ingenious tool to your kit then do not hesitate to do so, but don't order anything smaller than a half dollar.
Very happy to have picked this effect!
I have the Eisenhower dollar version and the TUC part nests beautifully (could almost pass a casual inspection by a volunteer, though I'd never risk it).
I agree with other reviewers that the expanded shell should have a smaller shim/ TUC could have a weaker magnet, so that it would un-nest in performance more easily. Though you can place the shell on the opposite side, it makes the coin double faced, which is not ideal.
All in all, a very well machined gaff with a huge number of applications.

Jim asks: I have one of the original Walking Liberty silver Triple TUC (D0190) sets. My problem is (and has been) that the 'covering' shell (the one that makes it "Triple," I guess) is VERY tight around the internal shell - and unless I START with those two shells apart, I almost always have to do a 'heavy engineering' removal of one (the external) shell from the other (internal) shell. Did I just get a defective set? or a "too tight" external shell? I cannot be in any way 'smooth' if if involves separating those two pieces in the midst of a trick. I know theser things can be subjective - but a LOT of instructional time is devoted to the separation of the first two pieces - but NOTHING on the separation of one shell from another. Can anyone help me with this?
- 1. David responds:Sand or polish the edge of the insert coin?
- 2. Ben responds:The external shell has a magnetic shim, meaning that when it sits on the TUC (heads side of shell on heads side of TUC), they attract. This allows the unit to hold together as one coin. If you want the outer shell to easily come on or off the TUC, place it over the reverse , non magnetic side of the TUC (heads side of shell on tails side of TUC).
Christopher asks: How is the coverage on these coins? Is the outermost shell shimmed?
- 1. David responds:Not sure on the first. Yes on the second.
Corbett asks: Is there Teflon in the coins?
- 1. Jackson responds:The middle shell has teflon. The outer shell there isn't.
Alonzo asks: which would you recommend for a matrix routine dollar or half dollar?
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:It's down to personal choice. If you ask different performers you will get different answers on this.
Ed asks: How easy is it to use?
- 1. Dottore responds:Pretty easy, in my opinion.
- 2. Derek responds:There is a knack to it, but it is easy to learn.
Benjamin asks: Is the outer shell expanded? Will it work with regular dollar coins I have already?
- 1. Derek responds:I only have the half dollar version, so I can't speak to the dollar, but yes it will. The outer shell actually fits my regular half dollars better than it fits my TUC.
- 2. Eric responds:The outer shell of my Triple TUC definitely does not fit over a regular Ike Dollar
- 3. Jackson responds:The outside shell on my Dollar Triple Tuc is expanded, and fits over regular Ike Dollars. Some are a hair to big to work, but you could shave/sand down the circumference if need be.
Glenn asks: Is the set magnetic
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Yup.
Robert asks: For the dollar Triple TUC, is it an Ike dollar? Thanks.
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:It is.
Treven asks: Do the coins come with this? Thanks
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:You get three specially prepared coins that make up the Triple TUC set.
Brett asks: Is this gimmick also known as the "Triple Threat"? If so, I want to purchase it.
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:It id not the same as the Triple Threat, it is similar.
