Strike Vanish

It actually works well! I was surprised thinking that it would take a lot of practice but I got it first time! I've dropped the coin a few times and becoming more dexterous and confident will help. It certainly amazes watchers.

This is a great simple vanish. It's right up my alley of simple tricks you can do really well to impress friends and other spectators. Conceptually, I enjoy learning small moves like this because coin tricks aren't huge in my repertoire and learning this expands my knowledge of basic impromptu sleights. In my opinion, you can apply this sleight to anything such as batteries, small objects, keys, and rings. This really makes it fun because it's impromptu and if you good enough you can vanish any small object coupled with any long pen or wand.

I watched some of the free YouTube explanations for the Strike Vanish but still couldn't get the move smooth. This video was just what I needed. The explanation was far better and shown over the shoulder as well and in nice slow motion. I also enjoyed the at the fingertips variation which is not usually covered and which I actually found easier in the beginning. With a bit of practice I am now doing the Strike Vanish like a pro.

I was thinking of reviewing this along with the other moves on the Siwei EP page, but I decided this deserves a separate review of its own. The move itself is not that hard, but it looks super visual and deceptive. Kudos to David Williamson and Siwei Li for making this trick possible.

You'd think if you were going to put out a tutorial on a move, you should be a master of it. Not in this case. They can do the Strike Vanish, but not to the extent that they should be teaching it. Although I can do the move, I was hoping I could pick up some subtleties from someone who had mastered it. I found myself many times thinking "You've got to be kidding." If you truly want to learn the Strike Vanish, learn from the inventor,

Within 5 minutes of watching this download, my strike vanish was looking almost as good as on the trailer. Siwei explains how do it with or without the sound. This was a big plus for me that the trailer didn't emphasise at all

This was a fifteen second video that had the purpose of demonstrating the strike vanish. The strike vanish itself is taught in the accompanying tutorial video which i have not watched yet as of writing this review. The reason i am writing it none the less and the reason it is so wordy is because i was prompted by the site to type a review of at least 200 characters in exchange for 25 points. There was no requirement for giving 5 stars however i felt that the 15 second demonstration video did exactly what it was supposed to very well so 5 stars it is. I now have high hopes for the tutorial section now that my expectations have been peaked by this lovely performance.

It was a short video but it did teach me the strike vanish and the teaching was actually quite simple, I already recommended to a few of my friends

What you see is what you get. A very good tutorial on the strike vanish, nothing more, but definitely nothing less. A cheep download that is well worth it and you have probably bought worse products for more. Very good and clear teaching.

This simple utility sleight is seen frequently in performances involving coins or balls with pens or wands. There are some useful subtleties described in this tutorial and it is therefore recommended. Every performing magician needs to master this vanish.

Clean and simple. This tutorial is focused on the strike vanish -- providing some insightful and valuable tips. No more, no less. It would have been nice if it touched more on reappearance or other thoughts on building into a routine.

I bought this download as I was trying to refresh the move. All I can say is that it's "short and to the point". They're not slo-mo clips but the video-explanations doesn't leave any clue about what this move is and should look like. Very good job. Recommended.
