Props like this remind me of why I got into magic to begin with. Quality craftsmanship for a simple, elegant piece of sleight of hand magic. Cups and Balls is a legendary and essential routine for a reason, and these cups make me excited to practice every move. For such a reasonable price, I can’t recommend this set highly enough.

Goodness gracious, gracious goodness me. These are just killer. They look stunning in the ads, but they are even more glorious in person. I had to apply some elbow grease and Brasso to clean the insides nicely. These cups are very heavy, I mean like heavy. I am very proud and blessed to own these and very tempted to get the aged set as well. I really struggled making up my mind which set to get. I think I might get the aged set as well :) The cups handle really well, (now that I have had some time to get used to them). One thing the cups stack incredibly well. Treat yourself, you only live once (hopefully)!! Get this!!

These are my first cups and balls, but I've handled plenty of other manufacturer's cups. These are a bang for your buck, well made, they stack nicely, the sound is deep and resonant and they're not too big (perfect for a big lemon/small orange final load). Since I've no intention of performing this routine professionally I suspect they'll last me a lifetime.

My parents bought me a Cups & Balls set about 25 yrs ago and I left them completely neglected. Then I recently discovered how addictive performing with them actually is and decided to make an investment into a more robust set which would hopefully last a long, long time. After much research (and I do mean a LOT!) I finally opted for the aged version of the Legend Cups & Balls set. I am absolutely, most definitely not disappointed. They are absolutely beautiful.

The cups are not quite as tall as my 25-yr old practice set (standing at approximately 3" each, or just over 5.5" when stacked) but the opening is wider, at approximately 3".
I'm not sure what they weigh but they certainly have a nice weight to them.
The balls are also really nice to handle - you can fit 3 balls on one inverted cup - 4 balls if you balance the last one on top of the 3.

The cups are copper-plated and have a fantastic chime to them. Even if you just tap the upright cups with a sharpie, they will sing.

The only negative I have is that they do not come with a bag / pouch.

In summary, I would 100% recommend this set to anyone looking to make an investment into a CAB set.

These cups have some excellent reviews and I am prepared to concede that I may have been very unlucky! The first set arrived with a fairly large blemish on the inside of one of the cups. They were returned for replacement and when the next set arrived, one of the cups was a markedly different colour to the other two (which were perfect). They were returned for a refund. Reading the other reviews you (understandably) may wish to still go ahead with a purchase. My advice is: buy them from Vanishing because, based on my experience, you will get excellent service if you have any issues. If I was giving stars for customer service it would be 5.
