Neeraj
Easy, clean and amusingly fun tricks utilizing readily available items. The reset time is merely seconds for all of these tricks and they are definitely going to give a few laughs and awes to the audience. The explanation is good, and the course is suitable for anyone new to magic.
JOHN GRANTHAM
what a wonderful "impromptu"trick
Mitch
What a nice trick! It was explained in a simple manner. I am a Teacher/Coach and am so looking forward to performing this trick for my students and coworkers. I work at a high school for special needs kids. They have absolutely loved All the tricks I have purchased from you guys. One can not put a dollar value on the kid's faces lighting up at the end of each trick.
I am very blessed to have a job that I love with every fiber of my being.
VANISHINGinc. has provided so many special moments for our kids and faculty.
The products and videos are Grade A quality. I have recommended you guys to all my coaching buddies, faculty members and even several of our parents. Yes, I said even the parents! I can't tell you how many times I've had parents call me and say, "All I've heard about is Coach's magic tricks and how much their child loves them. Where can I get my hands on some of these?"
I have already prepared the prop for this one and will be performing it at Summer School this Wednesday. I performed it for some of the kids at the gym where I workout at here in town-They LOVED it!
Thank you for the great products and service y'all provide. Please keep up the great work. It is hard to find businesses like yours in this world.
I want y'all to know that you have a customer for life in me...
Carl
I love this effect and I can’t wait to try it out either at home or hopefully While out at a restaurant. Well done!!!!
Kevin
Good patient, clear tuition. Thanks

Amazing trick
David
This effect has of course been around for quite some time and as mentioned it was first developed by UK magician Arthur Setterington.
It created quite a storm in the world of magic when Michael Ammar released it on one of his first video's as 'Crazy mans Handcuffs' demonstrating that magic can be performed almost naked (in a swimming pool). I cannot ever remember ever seeing anyone go into a swimming pool with two elastic/rubber bands, or have any need to have two rubber bands with them. It is however a really great trick and fun to practice ( even fooling yourself with how the effect looks). Since then a number of people have released tutorials on this effect, often forgetting to name the originator. A lot of discussion has taken place over the years regarding the 'correct' size of band and also the material that the band is made of.
Joshua Jay's demonstration/ tutorial is for me one of the best I have seen. The video is very well shot, the explanation is very clear and of course the originator is mentioned. I pretty much think that this trick/illusion is probably responsible for the release over many years of many other rubber band effects/ video's.
Well worth perfecting/ learning. Joshua Jay suggests performing this effect slowly. I believe that is very important.

Tarek
Amazing and made it simple. Excellent video explanation
Chuck
This is a very good trick. Easy to do and will baffle most folks. I use this as part of a ring and string routine, but it could easily be worked in to any rubber band set. Great fun and easy trick.
Richard
good, and easy
Michael
Joshua Jay teaches four different tricks here. All four tricks are fun to do, but at least three of them are beginner tricks that can be done after a few minutes. Joshua Jay also teaches Crazy Man's Handcuffs, which is definitely the highlight of this download, but needs some more practice to perform.
Considering that it's free download, you should not miss this one.
Henk

Tom
This is great! I was looking for a simple trick using things found around
Us all the time and this Sugar trick will fit my needs.
Amanda
Really good. My english is not perfect but I do understand, how the trick works. Very good explained and shown. Looks like it is made for a beginer like me. I am looking foward to see all the other things you do offer on your website.
Mary
I'm going to practice this. I've always wanted to do magic. I'm a really bad liar. My face gives me away. I've been thinking how great it would be to have one of our bartenders to be able to do small tricks like this.
ian
wow that was good I mean ok i would have never even thought of a trick like this and it looks pretty real so yeah I'd say it was amazing
Kevin
I love the impromptu nature of the trick
Daniel
I thought the ‘spoon’ was manipulated using invisible thread instead of a part of a post it as the controller. The trick itself is very simple, easy to learn, and good for the "Do a trick for me" moment at the office. Five stars for a newbie magician.
Ellis
This drawing-of-a-spoon bending trick is explained clearly, and is easily something I can do at work to wow my co-workers! It is easy to do card tricks at parties because a deck of cards is expected, but at work I want magic tricks to be spontaneous, and this is a great one!
Mark
I love this effect. I carry two rubber bands with me always and preform this effect that fools people all the time.
Furst
These were four easy tricks I had never seen before, and the solution was not my first guess on any of them. Really clever and easy to do with everyday items around the office or restaurant. Definitely will be using these for informal ice breakers. Great for the office or pub. Thanks for sharing these for free!
Bill
That was cool
Edward
Love it !
Cheryl
Great trick
Frank
A great starting point. I watched these before recommending to a friend who is brand new to our beloved art. The diversity of effects is fantastic
Kelly
What a wonderful idea for an impromptu trick. You could go one further though if you were a working magician with business cards, get cards that fold in half and cut the back side of the card down so it works like the gimmick in this video. Have a picture of a spoon on the front and be sure to get your name and contact info on there somewhere. Reveal the trick, teach the trick, and then give them your business card.
Paul
Very well explained. Great little party piece. Thank you. ????
David
I have watched so many YouTube videos explaining how to do this trick and I was able to do it, but something was missing to make it look smooth. This was the best one and really is making the difference for me. Well photographed and explained. Thanks
Grady
Excellent
Robert
Good trick
Laura Bautista
Four small pieces of close-up magic to learn when you are starting out in the world of magic. They are very visual tricks, super easy to do, you just need a couple of items that you will get at home and in a few minutes after watching the videos you will be surprising your friends and family.
Thanks to Vanishing Inc for making magic so accessible and close to everyone.
Bryan
Love it!
Robert
Great stuff here
Mike
Cute little trick. Now I have to carry a post it pad wherever I go.
Can't wait to try this on my grandkids. The best part is seeing their faces after you're done a trick. Nothing better.
Steven
Covers everything you need to know in a few minutes. Beautifully done, and great video demo. Explanation is clear, concise and covers everything,
Robert
I too have read this effect before, but have forgotten the simplicity and beauty of it as I became enamored with complicated techniques. Simple is always more deceptive, and easier for the crowd to become lost as they are searching for an obviously complicated method.
Arnav
This trick is amazing
John
Very nice explanation! Thank you!
Raymond
Great trick
Keith
Very cool stuff that even a novice like me can do and so great of you to offer those at no charge which shows you love and dedication to the wonderful world of magic. Those will just tickle most people's interest, you're helping to create a world of magic. Thank you!
Edward
Way cool. I learn sleight of hands tricks for a table top game for more impact to my group of friends
Erik
These effects really are good examples of “easy tricks.” They’re almost simplistic. At the same time they really do seem like things you could do just about anywhere. I’m particularly curious to see how the vanishing sugar goes over the next time in a pan IHOP or Waffle House!
James
Josh is such a good teacher -- takes his time.
Dane
This is such a great video that is offered to begin learning tricks. Easy to do with practice
John

Giancarlo

Darryl
Cool trick and nicely taught - Thanks!
Daniel
Josh knows how to add an extra twist to a classic trick! Love it!
Chris
Great illusion. Good way to start learning basic slight of hand movements. And angles. Not to hard to accomplish. But will take some practice time to get all finger and hand movements just right for a smooth effect . But once u get it just right. Ull be mind blowing all your friends and colleagues. Simple, fun and effective illusion. Highly recommended for beginners
Bruce
great for grandkids
Anthony
Amazing was very pleased with these few simple tips for these very awesome tricks thank you
Armando
Good easy trick
Brian
Simple and brilliant
Marcia
A great starter trick. Learning to direct your attention and feigning deep concentration is as important as performing the mechanics of the illusion.
Ask for your audience’s help with this procedure. I especially liked when he explained the behind-the-scenes parts and pointed out that the first sticky note in the pad was important to give the impression that the pad was as normal and avoid suspicion of having done anything to it behind hand. Well done.
Nancy
An easy and frequent used trick. Fantastic to go trick when you are having coffee with a friend.
George
That what cool
Brian
Delightful, simple, clean and effective table magic! Thank you.

Chris
This course is worth it for the post it note trick alone. Such a simple, fun effect that you can do anywhere. In fact, all of these tricks can be done with stuff you have around the house. And it's free, so what do you have to lose?
Ka Kuen Kirito
Vanishing Free Magic is Awesome ??????
Monte
Great trick I'll have fun with this trick
SCott
nice simple and effective trick
Jennifer
Pretty cool. It got me. I thought what he said I'd think
John
I think your instructions and explanation were spot on. This has to be practiced just as you suggested without rushing it and slowly moving the bands apart at the finish. Packs small, plays big!
Linda
Great trick. works wonderfully. Thanks
Ed
Interesting and slick.
Awesome!!! Easy but very fooling trick!! Thank you!
Mike

I love Joshua Jay's Magic! Also, I have a question for Vanishing Inc.: How could I create a sellers account so I could post a routine that I came up with myself? Also, the routine is about 10 minutes long so how much should I sell it for? My name is Kai McCullen and I'm 11 years old. My e-mail is: kaimccullen@outlook.com
Please send me an e-mail asap. Thank you!
Joe
Simple but effective.I have a trainee magician (my nephew) who is going to love this !
Paul
Very good I will look at the videos thankyou
David
I thought it was a really good effect, I was of course looking for a thumbtip, did not see one. Then thought maybe he will lap the sugar, no. I've been into magic for a long time and I have to now admit that i was fooled by the performance of this trick. Thank you for sharing something that has a great method behind it.
Louann
I like that I need to try that
Alejandro
Basic, but Perfect
Chris
Love this! I think I can learn it, too! Thx Josh!

Best. Magic. Website. Ever. They have everything I could ever wish for, although the prices are a little steep. But trust me, it’s totally worth it. With high-quality items and foolproof methods, you will more than surprise your audience with amazing tricks.
Wayne

Rick
Cool. Going to try
Vance
Awesome
Freddie
Josh is an excellent teacher !! I simply adore his teaching style.
Mark
The spoon bend trick is a cute (mostly) impromptu trick. It takes about 5 seconds for its (in secret) prior setup. Not powerful enough to really be a stand alone trick but could be an opener combined with the old (beginner) magician's two-handed spoon bend (see e.g. Bamboozlers, Volume One, "Spoon Bending," pg. 72, by Diamond Jim Tyler).
Leonard
Excellent!
Paul
Very neat
Scott
I'm a beginner and I thank you for your help.

Simeon
Great it was very simple and easy to follow. But when the trick was being shown I had no idea what was happening
Danny
Easy and fun to do with friends!
Kristin
This has been amazing! My daughter, 7, received a pretty good magic set for her 6th birthday that she actually got really into. She had the act down, but moved onto some otter interests. Magic just came across her radar again and now we are both a little obsessed! We just ordered another kit and while waiting for it took advantage of some of the free tricks here and the card tricks in the site too and have been having a blast learning and practicing! Thank you for all the fun!!!
Richard
I love Rubber Ringer!
A
Must try it

Savino

Frank
Very interesting. Thanks for sharing
Dewey
Couldn't be explained any more thoroughly.
Carol
Thanks
Eli
nice :)
Bud
Terrific impromptu illusion.
Kevin
I've tried teaching this wonderful effect at our club meetings, but could never express the "move" clearly. This video clearly describes the move. When I have a teenage boy out with his family, who clearly doesn't want to be there, I go to this trick. The wonder of the effect never fails to get a smile.
Note, a spectator can hold one of the rubber bands between their own hands.
Marc
Very basic, but entertaining
Eric
Quite enjoyable, and well explained. The only difference between this being 4 starts and 5 starts would have been if he took the extra moment to show off suggested palming techniques in greater depth.
Todd
Good trick but looks like you have to be pretty slick to hide the strip on the back .
Edwin
Very nice done
Magic
nice
Gary
Very good. Will do this for my grandaughter
Terry
Great idea! I will try this soon .
Lee
Great simple trick I have never seen before. Thanks
Jana
The sugar trick is really deceptive, however you need to be a good actor to sell it. I don't like to be asked to "show some magic tricks" but if you know you're going to socialize, this is a great trick to really show them. Just grab the sugar packet, go to the loo, prepare the gimmick, order a cup of coffee, switch the packets, and Bob's your uncle!
Jack
The only one I found interesting was the band thru band, but get If your already subscribed to them
Michael
This was another Great course & again easy to understand & learn. The main thing with these tricks I am learning is practice makes perfect. I am so glad they offer these courses for people like me that are new to doing magic tricks & card tricks.
Brian
That's really cool to see. Im sure am going to practice and shoe all my friends. But first. Ill start with my 8 yr old daughter.
Arios
it was easy and gave me step by step instuctions
Mark
I think it's a perfect trick as far as methodology, psychology, and framing. I just don't like the idea of having other people try it with their own sugar packets. How does it make you look, when you set them up to fail and make a mess? I think it spoils what was otherwise a great little piece of magic theater. But the trick itself--wow.
