Tom Stone is often at his best when he’s at his most whimsical, and that is on full display in this collection. “Brutus’ Gift” is a prediction effect with several knives, meant for stage. “Eggs from Bombay” was created for someone else, and along the way Tom gives great insight into how to create material for someone else’s character and strengths. “A Well-Timed Miracle” is no pipe-dream at all; it would be an ideal way to end a close-up show.
