@Christophe Fouquet - his name is Greg Wilson but I'm absolutely agreeing with you. Dani could've hosted the lecture by himself. He's just that captivating.
I'd rate it lower just because of Greg's interruptions but I don't want this gem of a lecture being rated too low because of bad hosting.

THE BEST LECTURE EVER
Really Dani DaOrtiz is a genius his methods are just incredible and the best part only one trick requires a setuo and the other are completely imprompmtu. Also his magic is absolutely foolish Greg wilson was fooled by nearly every trick even though its not to many tricks this lecture is worth 20 or 30 dollars so JUST BUY IT i give this lecture 9 out of 5 stars :)
P:S maybe greg wilson isnt the best host but he made the lecture even more entertaning

Dani Daortiz is an entertaining magician and I can tell in this lecture he wants to impart more than he wants. And I want to study his performance and his audience interaction.

But the host, Greg Wilson, is very very atrocious. He always interrupts Dani. He talks and explains more than Dani.He is a heckler during his performances.And as someone who wants to learn from Dani.He is damn distracting. Dani, however, tries to roll with it and you can see that he is trying to be respectful in continuing his tricks. Greg renders the first half an hour unwatchable and distracting. And when Dani tries to explain something, Greg restates it again,often times interprets it wrongly or uses metaphors that are vague or unfamiliar.

I would rate this 5 stars if the host was a but more respectful and less distracting. I was not happy with how the lecture ran.Quite disappointing.

Dani DaOrtiz is a genius. Especially on how to manipulate the spectators. Worth every penny.

P.S. I found Greg Wilson funny and entertaining. He gives the "boost" to the conversation due to language issues Dani has with english (although i think Dani sometimes plays with language on purpose)

Dani shows of hiss tremendously relaxed abilities and energetic passion in this, mostly theory, lecture. I enjoyed hearing Dani's thoughts in performance, character, tension and relaxation. A true master.

I have seen a lot of at the table lectures. There are certain lectures dedicated to mentalism,non card stuff, or simply filled with card galore effects. I prefer the latter with creative card plots and routines.Dani's principles and care free style piqued my interest.
An hour into lecture and only one trick was explained. Greg the host and Dani spent a lot of time talking about philosophy but would stray too far from explanations. I would give the lecture 3 out of 5 stars. Dani has creative ideas and psychological concepts are amazing but it was too long-winded to the point I had to stop it several times because I was falling asleep.

Dani DaOrtiz is phenomenal and I can't recommend him enough. The host is horrific. I can't believe the producers would let someone so antagonistic interview a magician of this caliber. It is honestly so disappointing such a lecture was in many ways ruined by the host. I can't imagine it's that hard to have a good host that enhances the guest, not distracts and antagonizes them. What a disappointment. But if you can suffer the host, Dani is incredible and a master of his craft. That said, the host needs to be fired asap and never interview anyone ever again.
