Luxury Pad

I first had ordered and received a different, larger plain black close-up pad from Vanishing. Then I saw this close up pad and instantly wanted it and had planned on returning the first one purchased. This one is classy looking. I used it for about an hour or so practicing some push through riffle shuffles and I noticed that there is now a section of the pad that appears worn as if the pattern (that makes it looks so classy) cannot stand up to really any friction or consistent use of actually using the pad. It's not worn like blue jeans get worn and raveled. It's the pattern that gets ruined. At first, I thought it was just the material needed "re-brushed" from a different direction similar to the way you run your hand across carpet in a different direction. Nope. There is a 9inch by 4 inch permanently worn section. It looks horrible. I'm glad I had kept the other pad I bought. I have spent countless hours on that one practicing and it looks fantastic. I guess I'll have to use this "classy pad" as my practice pad because there is no way I would use it in performance. Save your money.

I love my Luxury pad by TCC. Leather backed and beautiful design. Been doing ribbon spreads and using coins. Great feel and no issues. I ordered the grey option and completely satisfied with it. Vanishing Inc got it out in a timely manor and was easily able to track it.

I was surprised how good this mat is for the money. It’s not like the high end mats that cost £100 plus but for the money it’s great. Solid base, really nice padding and a good surface. It’s perfect for cards and it’s a really good size as well so you can get a nice semi circle spread of a full deck. I love mine

The luxury pad works well with both cards and coins, and doesn't leave much hints of marks when performing a matrix type effect due to the pattern. Would be nice to have green/blue as an added colour option. Similar to TCC's sued pads these are hard backed packed inside a large window envelope. Tip: dont leave the pad with cloth side facing up to the window packaging, avoiding any impression left behind. TTC deliver another quality product at an excellent price.

This is a great pad and very elegant. I originally ordered a gray, but received a black one. However, VI went far above and beyond what any company I've dealt with has ever done to make it right. I've never had any business of any kind go to such lengths, especially a magic dealer. They are definitely my go to source for all future magic purchases.

Now, back to the pad. I bought this simply as practice pad to use while sitting in my recliner since it has a rigid back and it was also to double as a lap desk for reading and journaling. However, once I opened it and saw and felt the luxurious surface, I decided I'd use it for actual performance as well. I probably won't use it as a lap desk for fear that I might get ink on it while writing. I may order a second one to keep in case something happens to this one and they're no longer available.

This pad is beautiful and very well made. The materials used are of high quality and the pad is light to carry. I chose the medium size and black finish, and the color is very deep. The feeling of the surface is extremely smooth. The pad can easily be described as a luxury item and is a real bargain, in this price category !

I picked this up in the largest size available and in the red color to use for cups and balls among other things. I am impressed with the color, size, quality, and cool factor for the price. The fabric is showy, and spectators know you're serious when they see this in front of your table. I've had mats for double the price that were not as nice.

Luxury indeed! The pad is really well cushioned. The design is actually part of the fabric and is raised. It’s not like it’s printed on or anything like that. The back of the pad is made from leather. It’s almost too nice to use! I just wish something marketed as a luxury pad would have came with a dust bag, slip bag, or something, but it’s alright because you could easily find one of those on Amazon. Looks great on video too.

This is probably one of the best close-up pads I have ever purchased! I didn’t even know it was gonna be that big. Because my local magic shop sells something like it but it’s smaller for the same price. So I was really proud to see that it’s quite huge!

I love the hardback plastic design. It has a nice smooth finish. And it’s made out of wood! I really like that! Even though I’m not a professional performing magician, I enjoy practicing for myself at home. So that when I’m out and about wherever I go, the practice I have put into my tricks by using the closest pad will show when I perform my effects to random people like at a grocery store check out or at a doctors appointment!

I really love my luxury pad! I wouldn’t even mind bringing it to a bar if I had too! I also really like the felt feeling on the pad. And I chose the color red as opposed to the traditional black or blue. I like the red because it makes my card magic pop. Just as long as I don’t use red bank cards. But the felt feels really nice and it feels really royal and regal when I perform my card magic on social media.
