This is a clever, well-made prop. It has no functionality other than to exist. But for the few moments that the audience actually sees it, it is wonderful

Looks absolutely perfect, and is such a great non-sequitur type of gag.

And if like me, you have a few moments where you turn your back on a spectator while they make a drawing (Rawlins REVEAL), it's absolute so much fun to take this out, take a bite, and then stick it back in your pocket without so much as skipping a beat. It certainly fills that otherwise dead/dull spot in the act while the person is drawing.

PopschticlePop Haydn’s POPSCHTICLE is a uniquely clever prop that has proven itself time and time again over the years in his programs. This very well made and extremely realistic looking likeness of a chocolate ice cream bar or orange cream sickle is reasonably priced and a perfect laugh getter when used at the appropriate time during a routine. I bought the chocolate bar but will be getting the orange cream sickle very soon. The prop is durable, can be easily maintained and should last a lifetime. Included with Popschticle is a spare stick and a link for a very informative tutorial along with live performances and an interview with Pop. Popschticle is a great comedy prop thats guaranteed to get laughs. Highly recommended. Oh, and Vanishing, Inc.’s excellent customer service is noteworthy, as always.

I have been working on a new memory demonstration effect for six years (with input from 8 magician friends along the way). I needed a reason to go into my (ditch) bag for about seven seconds or so to accomplish some dirty work. Those seven seconds create "dead air" and seem like seven minutes. For the past year, I have been trying to come up with a legitimate reason that makes sense to access my bag. I had seen the ad for "Popschticle" a while ago, so it was in the back of my memory bank. Finally, while thinking of a solution to my problem, the light bulb went off and "Popschticle" came into mind. It's a perfect reason to spend a few seconds in my bag.

"I wondered where I had put this"; then I pull out the "Popschticle", and take a bite. I look around as to what to do with it; and then put it in the inside vest pocket of my suit coat. People will remember the sight gag, but forget about the seven (or so) seconds that I spent in the bag. I have a legitimate reason to access the bag - I saw a popsicle in there and had to retrieve it. The prop also injects a little comedic break into a relatively serious routine. So it serves two purposes. "Popschticle" solved my dilemma. I opted for the orange "Creamsicle" version because I usually wear a black suit.
