I bought the Victoria skull head coin. As you can see by the images above, it is based on a silver Victoria "bun head" crown dated 1844. I would assume that the manufacturer has used the same date on all the Victoria coins. However, the date is quite small and your audience won't notice it.
Compared to my Ellusion pirate coin (Morgan dollar size) the Victoria crown is ever so slightly bigger in diameter. It's also slightly thicker and therefore slightly heavier. It looks like silver but I found my silver half crowns have a warmth that this coin does not. But this is hardly a complaint. It's not a "soft" coin but it doesn't feel cheap or rough at all.
The coin is great. And if you're looking for something unusual for your coin magic, you won't be disappointed. I plan on using it in conjunction with my pirate coin for spellbound and on it's own for one coin routines.
