Back in 1924, Houdini wrote a book called A Magician Among The Spirits. Scholars will know that Harry was incredibly annoyed with his editors at Harper & Brothers as they over-edited the text, rewrote many parts and cut out large portions of the original.
Milbourne Christopher's collection housed the original, typed manuscript and it's been unread—except for a few people—for over five decades.
