Customer reviews for Coin Magic

Dave

I highly recommend this book. Coin magic is about coins in motion so you would think videos are the better medium for learning. Certainly, there are details that are better understood via video but there are fine details explained in writing and with precise drawings that cannot be matched with video instruction only. The book is filled with magic from masters of the art. I had thought that the David Roth section would be redundant to the video instruction I already own from David Roth, but I found that is not redundant but rather an richer explanation and in many cases with explanations not provided elsewhere. Another key point is that this book is not like Bobo's The New Modern Coin Magic. While the Bobo book was a classic in its time, the book was short on understandable explanations and I found it hard to learn from the Bobo book. While the Bobo book is foundational and belongs in your library, Kaufman's CoinMagic is of the highest quality. You will understand and master amazing coin magic by working through Kaufman's CoinMagic.

I was super excited to see this classic back in print. I was never so lucky as to get one when it was first printed. I ordered this as soon as it became available and I have been pouring over it for hours. The material covered is just phenomenal. The quality of the book is outstanding and the magic is outstanding. Get this before this piece of magical history goes out of print!
