Customer reviews for Concerning the Palming of Cards

Gerhard
Vanishing Inc books never disappoint. The book is written with excellent detail and the photographs are very good. I prefer a Matt paper than the shiny paper to be honest and this delivers. This is excellent value for money and I am excited to sink my teeth into it. This is one of my favourite buys this year. Excellent value for money.

This is easily one of the most visually stunning books Vanishing Inc has ever published. It also contains extremely useful, practical, and thoughtful work on the topic of palming cards as taught by an underrated authority on the subject. This book should be considered essential for serious sleight-of-hand card magicians.

Concerning the Palming of Cards: A beautiful book by Vanishing Inc.
This book has wonderful color pictures and the reading is easy to understand. This book is 100% dedicated to palming. Not only the most used palm which is the "Top Palm" is in detail which sometimes intermediate card magician should go over again. Also a chapter is dedicated to the bottom palming which should be in every Card Man's arsenal. This pictures are clear and let you know where your hand's position and fingers should be when you are palming. In the back of the book are references where you can go find more work on card palming. You can't go wrong on obtaining this book. A great source of material on palming that will help you and your card work. Don't wait to get this book.

New and surprisingly captivating. Many comparative adages can be forced into this description, but none are needed. Though these DO stand ion the shoulders of others, they stand well alone and in a new light… Well done!!
Kimmo
Fantastic book, very well written. I especially enjoy the old style, like it was written in 1940s. My only gripe is the fact that I wish the pictures were of slightly higher quality. If I'm not wrong, the issue is with the paper, but it's a very minor thing.
Maxime
This is a great book. The explanations are SO clear. I really enjoyed the writing style and the « vulnerability » of the author in the foreword. Also, the book itself is beautiful and very well made. VI are the best (again!), but who needed further proof of that ?

Another find Vanishing Inc. book. Concerning the Palming of Cards is one very good book that does help in palming cards. I didn't realize there is so much in a having a really good palm. The instructions along with the beautiful pictures does help you on how to practice your card palming. One subject of this book is all the names and ways to palm a card. Yes you will need to practice but once you have the technique down and how to add this to your card work you will be very proud that this book helped you achieve getting better at your card work. You no longer don't need to be afraid of palming. Once you get better at palming you will now have more confidence on coins. A great book for your library and one that you will be working out of.
