This is a massive book. About 1500 pages I would say. It's more of a collectors item I would say. Not that there isnt any good magic in it. I have paged through it and read a few quite a bit of it. I haven't found anything that stands out but it's a fantastic tome of magic history. I was able to pick this up during the black Friday sale for a great price so really happy to own this. With so many great more modern publications available this is certainly not a consideration for a new library but certainly for an established library. I do recommend this its certainly fascinating.
