Friday 8 January 2027 · 10:00am – 11:30am GMT. London Heathrow Marriott Hotel.

Take a deep dive into magic history and uncover the punk rock side of Johann Nepomuk Hofzinser in Luke Jermay’s “Never Mind The Bo**ox, Here’s Hofzinser” workshop.

Drawing on extensive research into Hofzinser’s scripts and their historical context, Luke will unpack the thinking behind the tricks and the intellectual bite that made them resonate with audiences. There’s material to learn, but more importantly, you’ll discover what Hofzinser can teach us today about using magic to say something, challenge expectations, and engage an audience.

Included with The Session 2027 VIP tickets.
