This book was published awhile back, and is about an era even further back so the language is a bit stilted. Nevertheless, it was a pretty good read. The author gives good overview of most of Soo's career, although it is lacking in detail regarding Soo/Robinson's early career in America. Also, the story was lacking insight into Robinson's interior life, i.e. what he thought about about his art and the people around him. Still, an enjoyable read. For anyone wanting a more in depth look into Soo, I understand Jim Steinmeyer's book will provide that.
