Week One lecture. What a GREAT lecture! In clear concise language and multiple finger-placement examples, Eric clearly, slowly, PATIENTLY and repeatedly explained all the necessary little nuances of each move....how to get into the move, how to get out of the move, how to clean up. etc.

As Eric was explaining something...and a thought or question entered my mind, almost in the next sentence, as if anticipating the question that I was about to ask, Eric addressed the issue and answered my unspoken question! He also, without prompting or questions, spontaneously followed up by explaining the "WHY" of doing the move in the manner he was instructing.

What a joyful learning experience! I'm not a coin guy. Not even in the slightest or the sleightest. But I can hardly wait for Week Two and Week Three lessons to occur.

I wish that all my grade school teachers, my high school teachers and my college professors had had the ability and passion to teach in similar manner. If they had, I would never have skipped a class.

Eric Jones is a fantastic teacher. He really has a comprehensive approach to teach moves and breaking them down into not only the right way but telling what might be the wrong way. That is a Masterclass!

Eric thoroughly and clearly covered the mechanics of some traditional and newer concealments, their uses, and how to get in and out of the positions. His thoughts on how to use or modify angles to maximize the deceptiion.
He taught a very nice impromptu transposition of two borrowed coins just the kind of thing that establishes your magical abilities at anytime.
These and the personal anecdotes and tips on presentation of virtual magic were more than worth the price for the first hour and a half of instruction. Bring on session 2!

Eric's advice on presenting Zoom presentations that connect with the audience is INVALUABLE !!!! ( manner of speaking, eye contact, camera/monitor/ laptop placement). The proof is how he presented his lecture. It was as if he were a few feet in front of you, in person.

Eric Jones lecture is tour de force of amazing vanishes and productions. The sleights he teaches range from the practical to ethereal Coin work with detail explanations that will require multiple viewings to extract all the nuance, plus he delivers practical advice when it comes to working for the camera.

WOW! Just plain WOW!

I thought that Week 1's lecture was over the top, but, for Week 2, Eric climbed to the top of the highest mountain and then flew and circumnavigated the globe at least three times...before coming back down to earth and gracefully sticking the landing.

The material taught was not "throw-away" stuff. No indeed. Eric shared some of his deepest and most valuable secrets...material that is in his daily repertoire.

Question: How the hell can a person cogently and clearly cover so much material in so little time?

Besides the magic taught and clearly explained, I am in complete awe over Eric's communication skills and his ability to anticipate the question(s) next to be asked..and then answer them without missing a beat.

As I said last week, I wish that all my school teachers had been Eric Jones clones...I never would have missed a class.

Eric Jones taught great coins tricks and techniques, although before the Masterclass I wasn’t really good at coin magic, the first lecture was about basic techniques, so the Masterclass is also for coin laymen.

Eric Jones is a great teacher. Very methodical and deliberate in his approach. This isn't just coin work here. Eric also shares some workable card material as well. As others have stated, the coin work gets harder as the course goes on but Eric is super good with answering questions and utilizing different camera angles to show you everything you need to know.

Coins aren't my thing and I seem to struggle with it a lot. But I enjoyed this whole Masterclass a lot! Eric Jones brings a lot of knowledge, skills and pure fun to the Masterclass. While it isn't only coins, of course, most of it is. But there is a lot for everyone in here, from beginners to advanced magicians.
