I need to first take the time to compliment Vanishing Inc. Magic in general and John Guastaferro in particular for John's 2nd week Masterclass lecture held yesterday!

WOW! What a lecture! Ten minutes into the lecture, I scrambled to pick up my cell phone and begin taking notes to myself (as I made notes on a just completed card trick)...and, as it turns out, for each subsequent card trick as each was performed and explained...and I never put my cell phone down for the entire rest of the lecture. WOW! WOW! WOW! What an exciting lecture! And then equally as good (if not arguably better) was John's and Andi's discussion on marketing and branding. I was enthralled! Super exciting and interesting....and an emptiness instantly enveloped me as the Masteclass came to an end.

Man! I've watched many magic lectures (and I really get off on lectures on performance theory) but, I cannot remember a lecture that I have enjoyed more and/or got more out of than John's Week 2 lecture.

I've always been a huge fan of John's after his Full Circle rope trick video. What creativity and insight! (And then, inevitably others stole John's methodology and even failed to give him proper credit or attribution.)

And now, to discover that John is a true Renaissance Man and is soo multi-talented (i.e., Flamenco Guitar? His Degree in college was Business and Marketing? Business Leader and Motivational Speaker?,...C'mon! Stop it! Get out of Dodge!) I am in complete awe of John Guastaferro.

This was great. The hour-and-a-half time was awesome - I think a lot of the time, lectures feel the need to pack in the material and you end up with fatigue. I like the shorter, one hour time (plus 30 minutes of questions, etc). Great material, well taught.

This is one of the best masterclasses I have purchased John has a very relaxed style of performing and teaching which makes it an easy watch and the little added steps that he teaches makes all worthwhile. The final trick he teaches is vino aces which is so clever and deceptive which I love to perform highly recommended anything by John jut buy it.

John Guastaferro is an incredible man and an inventive, talented magician. I love everything he does, without exception, and have great admiration for this generousity in life activity. The Vanishing Masterclass gives you the chance to see some of the routines he's already shown in his books, ebooks and DVDs. For those who own all or most of his work, there will be a lot of "duplication" of what they already have, as there is very little that is new. But the mere fact of seeing John G. on screen, benefiting from his advice and seeing him do it, is pleasant and can justify the investment. For those who own nothing by John Guastaferro and would like to start with something, the Masterclass may be a good solution. For long-time fans, it may be a way of waiting for his next book to be released by Vanishing (the sequel to One Degree).

This is my favorite masterclass on the site (along with Woody Aragon). John offers amazing insights to why he loves each trick and I have gone back to this masterclass multiple times to remember certain trick because I just love all the material in here. Buy this one, it is worth your money.

A must watch for the card magicians out there! Yes, it's all card magic and most are not difficult. There are great routines that have that "one percent improvement" to make them jaw dropping. If you have his books, One Degree and The Nth Degree, then you'll know the genius of John Guastaferro. If you don't have his books, you'll definitely want them after seeing his Masterclass!
