This was fantastic. Taylor was very generous with the material that he shared. He shared routines directly from his working material and you can tell that he's done these loads of times because he shares all the bits of business that make them work and the gotchas to look out for. It's difficult to find material well suited to stage/parlour/standup acts but Taylor didn't hold back. Loved it and can't wait for week 2.

Taylor Hughes Masterclass was fantastic! Not only did Taylor teach some world-class effects that he has used in the "real world", but he also broke down his creative process, storytelling in magic, using props that make sense, and SO much more.

This Masterclass inspires performers to think about how they routine their show/set, what message or story are they trying to tell, and what effects & props work best to achieve this outcome. I will be applying the principles learned in this Masterclass to create an entirely new show, as well as take advantage of emcee work by applying Taylor's advice on this topic.

I found some real workers in this lecture. Real practical advice and stuff I will actually use! Taylor has some advice for getting things done that is brief but, I believe, may actually be more valuable than any trick you will learn this year. I love The Gift! I found this masterclass quite enjoyable. All of the tricks Mr. Hughes demonstrated involved something other than cards or coins, which was nice to see. In between the performances and explanations, he spoke about a variety of topics pertaining to story telling tips, creating your own special, creating deadlines to spur creativity, and business advice for the aspiring pro.
