As the name implies, yes, this is another [BLEEPING] ESP deck. But don't tune out yet. This one is made by Alexander Marsh to solve problems he found in every other ESP deck.

When Alexander Marsh couldn't find an ESP deck that offered everything he needed, he created his own. The result was a powerful tool for modern mentalists.

And now, for the first time, Alex and Vanishing Inc. have combined forces to take everything great about the original “AF ESP deck” and push it ever further.

Here’s everything new with the updated “AF ESP deck”:

New and improved plastic ESP Cards
The original version (and most ESP decks in general) are printed on paper stock that gets destroyed quickly. This new edition is made in a premium plastic stock that will last countless performances and stand up to the wear and tear of regular use.

New Carrying Envelope
In a further effort to differentiate ESP cards from playing cards, most mentalists will often just throw away the box of their ESP cards and carry them in a small bag like those used for Tarot cards. As such, the updated "AF ESP Deck" is now supplied with a classy gusset-style envelope for storage.

Full Tutorial
Each "AF ESP Deck" now comes with all-new instructions from Alex. He’s updated the original teaching, refined the handling, and added new routines.

Routines taught:

AM's Matchup: Alex’s signature 5-for-5 matching routine that’s pure genius. You will love performing this!

AM's Tableless Matchup: A standing ESP match routine where your participant makes all the decisions, and in the end, you show that you knew all along exactly what they would do. This routine is perfect for strolling and walking around.

Visa Cabaret Style: A hard-hitting Free Will routine where you predict the exact order in which the cards are selected and which pockets they’re placed in.

Jazz Gemini Twins: A powerful version of Gemini Twins using the AF ESP cards, where two random cards are selected as target cards, and the participant is able to blindly find their matches.

And of course, everything that made the original “AF ESP deck” amazing is still here:

Marked ESP Cards
The back design is a simple 'vintage' retro style, more in keeping with the time period in which the original Zener Cards were designed. The backs are also marked with a simple. easy-to-read numbered mnemonic system (the triangle and wavy lines are marked differently, allowing you to use either or both in a full deck of six symbol cards). The back design also has a subtle one-way design.

A Bonus ESP Symbol
To Alex, the "wavy lines" have always seemed to be the odd ones out. He felt they didn't sit well visually with the other geometric shapes. Not to mention, calling them "wavy lines" just feels ridiculous. So, he's swapped it out for a triangle. (But, don't worry, if you like the "wavy lines", those are still included. You can use either, or both, as you need.)

Different Size
Alex felt it was important to dissociate his ESP cards from standard playing cards. So the "AF ESP Cards" are slightly longer and thinner than regular playing cards. They are trump card size (2.4in x 3.9in | 62mm x 100mm).

Various Gaff Cards
You receive a variety of gaff cards (see below for full details) that expand the possibilities of your ESP routines.

Customer reviews for AF ESP Deck

Bill
I give this deck and tutorial the highest rating. Firstly, the deck looks beautiful and the reading system is the best and most straight forward I’ve seen. My eyesight isn’t what it was and yet I don’t foresee any problems reading this deck from a distance. (I don’t have the deck in hand yet, but from the tutorial you can clearly see the ease of reading these).Secondly, the tutorial and brilliant. I love the routines, all very clever, but I have to say the card matching routine is brilliant and foolproof. I never liked the adjustments necessary in this type of routine before, but Alex has completely eliminated all those weaknesses. This is a worker.

  • Marshall asks: Initial page says “some of the routines taught” Inside lists ONLY four. With all the gaff and special cards how many actual routines are taught? What are they?

    • 1. David responds:So those 4 routines are taught it may have been a typo
    • 2. David responds:So those 4 routines are taught it may have been a typo
  • Robert asks: I have bad eyesight, so how easy is it to read the back of these cards??

    • 1. Kenneth responds:As an owner of the previous version of these, the Paralabs ones, and the Eclipse cards from The 1914, these are definitely the trickier of those three markings to read as a slightly near-sighted person. If you’re looking for the same kind of durability, the Eclipse cards may be the better bet for you. They too are printed in crazy durable plastic.
    • 2. Giuseppe responds:I have bad eyes too, eclipse are the only ones I can use. They are perfect
    • 3. Robert responds:Poor eyesight or dim lighting can make these impossible to read.
