I was lucky enough to win a copy of this (which I was going buy it anyway).
The way the dvds are contructed works well. It starts very easy ( my 5 year old son performs it with me for friends) upto their most famous routine that is mind blowing. They make the teaching light hearted and entertaining.
Even if you don’t work with anybody else it is worth seeing how coding works and its potential.

I love all things Morgan and West - so I bought this as soon as it was released at The Session convention.
Whether you want to learn a couple of quick bits or a full coding routine then this is the dvd for you.
To be fair, even if you have no interest in coding at all then this is still a beautiful opportunity to watch two masters of their craft at work! :)

My wife and I have been discussing for a while the idea of us doing a show together... Well when I saw Decoded at Magic Live, I knew this was what we've been waiting for.
It takes lots of practice. Let's be honest. The great pieces do take practice. But what I love about this is that the practicing is fun and watching M & W interact on stage and in the instructions... I feel like they're in my apartment giving us our own private tutorial.
Not only is this worth 10/10 but the fact is, these guys are gentlemen and that makes things that much more better.
If you haven't bought it yet. Buy it now. Even if you don't have a partner to perform with. There are some methods to quickly teach a friend to code.

I have enjoyed seeing Morgan and West at The Session and on TV, but I hesitated to buy DECODED at first since I don’t perform with a partner. Based on other reviews, however, I did purchase a copy and am very glad I did. The two DVDs are entertaining to watch and I admired the thought they had put into their routines. Moreover, I found several techniques that I can easily teach my wife for informal demonstrations at social gatherings. I recommend this highly!

Decoded, this is excellent, a great video, nice clean back drop, clean setting, play time is just over three hours, demos, and tutorials are all fully explained, very enjoyable to watch, and very easy to follow, they even blind folded Andi, which i found amusing in the method they used to do this.

If you are part of a two person act, Decoded is without a doubt a must have for you. Even if you know nothing about coding, this DVD is a thoroughly entertaining introduction to the matter by the wonderful Morgan and West. By the end of watching, you will know how to communicate a fair amount of information impossible to your partner invisibly, allowing for some of the most incredible, direct and powerful mentalism routines one can do. It takes practice, but it is bound to pay off for anyone wanting to try.

Excellent system that is well thought out and expertly taught. Starts with simple concepts and then builds upon a logical system for two person routines. Second download talks about stage systems which require further training but again they are easily accessible with proper training and practice. Highly recommended as an advanced telepathy act.

A great intro to 2 person telepathy! There are ideas in here for all levels of skill. If you have in interest in 2 person telepathy definitely get Decoded and a friend. Morgan and West even explain their full act as seen on tv, just remember this type of act takes time to master but is well worth the effort.

The download is divided into two parts. The first part is basic coding that you can do almost impromptu or with minimal practice. While this won't give you a full mentalism act, it will give you some basic material, some of which scales to some solid mentalism. This was an excellent purchase. The performances were baffling and fun to watch. I was completely fooled. And the instructions following the performances are terrific. Both guys are hilarious, but they are excellent teachers. I highly recommend the videos and can't wait to try this material out.

I am not interest in performing mentalism, but was curious to learn some the techniques involved for my own personal edification. The gentlemen presented the rudimentary concepts of coding by first giving a performance of a trick, followed by a clear, concise explanation/discussion of the method they used. It's a wonderful lecture/class.

This is an excellent download if you ever want to learn the secrets of coding within a Magic setting. It starts of with a few simple techniques, and progressively gets harder as you gain more experience. I tried the simple stuff using my 12 year old daughter to fool the rest of the family and it worked really well. It does of course need plenty of practice but is really worth the effort if you like this kind of thing. Mo.

This is an excellent video to start coding. I say to start because coding in itself is not necessarily a "trick". However, it is a utility device to perform a multitude of effects. These gentlemen are clever and hilarious. I appreciate how they used not only verbal but physical coding as well. If you purchase this and spend the time practicing, you will do miracles. Is it hard!?! My 10-year-old son and 7-year-old daughter could perform some basic effects immediately after watching this. They performed in front of a group of magicians and fooled most of them that same night.

There is a lot of great information in here. They go deep in detail and explain everything in a fun way that makes it easy to learn. Even if you don’t plan on using the specific methods they talk about it’s still worth learning because you’ll always have it in your back pocket.

A terrific masterclass in coding, which includes transmission and reception of clandestine information. The teaching is illustrated through several applications that range from coding the color of the card, order of items selected, location of hidden item, numbers and words. The teaching is conducted in a very lively manner, as Morgan and West shine with their humorous style. The coding system has a diverse number of elements, (e.g. mapping between language and numbers, hidden gestures, etc). Most of the material is very accessible, and not to mention ingenuous, but requires a partner. The first part is basic, while the second part contains more advanced routines. Highly recommended.

If you're looking for a two person mentalism act, this is what you're dreaming of. Communicate numbers, cards, etc nonverbally to your partner using cues that are obvious to those who are in the in, but look completely natural to those who aren't involved in the code.
Combine this with Dan Harlan's Speakeasy and you have a devious set of codes that you can use to code just about anything to your partner verbally and nonverbally. I've played with these codes with a friend for just 15 minutes and we were able to perform miracles.
Highly recommend.

This is a really great set of videos! I enjoyed the teaching and the humor 😊. Everything is taught in a clear and progressive manner that really eases you into it. I already started teaching this to my wife to code cards at parties (she knows mnemonica, so the two together will be killer).

Decoded by Morgan & West was honestly way more approachable than I expected for something based on a “code act,” which I always assumed was too advanced for someone at my level. The set comes on two DVDs, and what really surprised me is how much of it is geared toward people like me who don’t have a regular performing partner. The entire first disc teaches you how to bring anyone in—your friend, spouse, whoever—and get them doing legit mind-reading effects with you in just a couple of minutes. I never thought I’d be able to pull off a code routine casually, but their teaching is super clear and surprisingly fun to practice. They go through practical stuff like coding the color and value of cards, figuring out which spectator is holding a coin, doing a quick drawing duplication, and even a blindfolded multiple selection. These feel doable even for an amateur, and the fact that your helper doesn’t need rehearsal makes it way less intimidating. Then the second disc dives into their full pro routine—the same one they’ve done on TV—and this part is definitely more advanced, but still explained in a way that makes you feel like you could work up to it. They even teach their method for revealing coin totals and credit card digits, which is wild to see broken down. Overall, as someone still learning, I found Decoded both inspiring and surprisingly accessible, and it made me feel like this whole world of partner magic isn’t out of reach at all.
