An EDC Magic Square that doesn't require any difficult memory work and can be performed anytime, anywhere.

"EDC Squared" by Mark Traversni (iNFiNiTi) is a specially-designed, Astrology-themed card that has a secret crib which handles all the hard work for you. Since it folds down to business card size, you can pop it right into your wallet and always be ready to go.

They think of a 2-digit number. You start using your intuition to quickly start filing in a 4x4 grid with what seems like random numbers. That is until you show them how, if you add up the top row of numbers, it equals their thought-of number. It's the same for all three rows below that. You can even add up the vertical columns, or go diagonally, and will still end up with their total. In fact, any symmetrical combination will work.

The Magic Square makes you look like a magical savant, and "EDC Squared" makes it easy to do.

Once you're done performing, these convenient cards can be wiped clean (if you used dry erase or even Sharpie ink), allowing you to reuse them for repeat performances. But, you also get 20 in a pack, so you can (and should) give them out as a magical souvenir when the moment feels right.

  • Easy to learn and perform
  • No memory work (secret crib for six different layouts is hidden in plain sight)
  • Repeatable for the same audience with a different number
  • Both a peek and no-peek version are taught
  • Video instructions including expert teaching and live real-world performances
  • EDC that fits in your wallet

Customer reviews for EDC Squared

Rene
This is a great EDC, if you know a peek the rest is self working , had the chance to perform it a couple of times and gotten great reactions. The paper stock used allows you to either use a dry erase marker or , if you use a sharpie you can wipe it off with alcohol and re use it.
On a paid gig definitely give it away , the refills are not expensive and it makes for a great souvenir .

  • Charles asks: Is this method a legit system such as taught by Richard Osterlind or is it a quickie method based on pre-set numbers. In other words, can this be done for more than one or two people without exposing the method?
