The course has several interviews as well with Maue in which he goes through his thinking. The effects are well explained and credited and pretty east to put together and customize. Very direct and clear effects and Francis Menotti includes a great effect too on the second edition. These are effects more on the commercial side that will leave the audience guessing. Rather than heavy handed fake Mental Super Power or Physic stuff. Although again it does go into that zone a little on a few pieces, you could play these to fit you.
Great material for larger type audiences 5 - 500 and up.
I always return to these when I need ideas or effects for groups.
