Spirit slates are a classic mentalism effect. With "Mind Reading Slate" you show a slate is blank on both sides before placing it back in an envelope.
A playing card is then selected from a deck. The slate is removed to show the selected card is now written on it as if put there by the spirits themselves.
This powerful prediction leaves a lasting impact and is great for any type of parlor or stage magic show.

Steve asks: Can any of the Vanishing staff post an answer. more the speculative, to the question as to whether the outcome of the prediction can be whatever the customer desires, and can be changed as needed. Requiring it to be the AS permanently is a no-go for me.

- 1. Jim responds:I do not own this, my reply is purely speculation. I believe you could create your own stack of cards and write on them anything you want such as names of cities, pieces of fruit, etc. The mentalist would then produce "Apple" as easily as "Ace of Spades"
