You give a small bag to a participant and invite them to stop your show at any moment by simply saying, "Now is the time."
Whenever they decide to do so, you ask them to remove a watch from the bag. They examine it and confirm that it is completely broken-the hands are stopped dead. But the time on the watch says... 20 minutes ago.
The participant then reaches into the bag and pulls out something else. It's a written prediction, that predicts that exact time difference!

I originally gave this 5 stars and impulse bought it because it fooled me.
Now the prop is here…. Yeah the hands aren’t moving. But you can literally hear what you aren’t supposed to hear on a dead watch.
Instantly ruins the illusion, and if your spectator you choose needs to bring the watch up to tell the time… they’re going to hear it too.
