This book is a essential reading for the mentalist. This is the book on peeks. Although I wish there were more illustrations and a better layout, the whole book is filled with usable gems from cover to cover. Most of the magic here is using the simplest "props" (if you can call it props) from billets to envelopes. Mentalism in its grandest simplest form. A compact book filled end to end.

This book is like a dictionary of peeks. You learn billet peeks, book peeks, Card peeks, etc. one of my favorites was the impromptu mother of all book tests. This is so good and is now one of my favorite book tests. 5 out of 5 stars.

I have never before read a magic book and then immediately wanted to read it again. I will be with Peek Performances. Such a fascinating and in depth treatise on mentalism in its purist and most direct form. Written in an entertaining and very readable way, Richard Busch makes this a fun read, although trying to work out handlings from some very precise and well described instructions can still be a challenge (well it was for me).
Most certainly a book recommended for anyone wishing to do what would appear to the public as ‘pure’ mentalism with no fancy props or gimmicks.
