~short review~Props 7/10Routine 7/10Instructions 6/10~longer review~Props:Balls1 9/10I guess the sets are random. My set is white, pink, red, and green. Nothing to exciting but they’ll last forever. I’m replacing mine already. I have a glass set coming in soon. I prefer to use red, yellow, green, and blue. I feel they contrast better and are more visually appealing. Small bags 8/10Very well made. Double layered and get the job done. But they won’t fit everyone’s set as the bag design themselves are a bit specific I guess. Outside of bag is a deep purple velvet, inside a pastel pink silk like lining. The cords on the bag are navy blue with 2 pastel purple cone shaped tabs. This design won’t fit everyone as said before. It’s good quality and a good size for the ball but I also plan to make my own sets. Large bag 5/10Sorry I can’t give this one a higher score. It’s designed exactly like the smaller bags but larger. I believe it’s 5x7in or so. But here’s the problem. It’s too small. After I have the participants put the balls in the bags. I tell them to hand them down to the right. Then tell the person on the end to mix the bags up. Then they go into the bag. But it’s a tight fit. So I use a crown royal bag instead. Routine: 7/10. The routine itself is a great springboard to build around it and turn it into something that fits you. It’s super easy and pretty fool proof. The method itself is pretty easy and allows you to focus on presentation without to much brain work and no second guessing. There is even a variation where you learn a secret Queing system to let someone else do the mind reading. Which adds so much to the over all routine. Everything fits inside the larger bag so it’s all self contained. The routine resets pretty fast and is on of those things that you can throw in your bag or in your pocket and in an instant be able to perform! Instructions 6/10:The instructions are pretty basic. They’re short but give enough info to perform the routine, plus the queing system. The instructions felt kind of not completed like there was something missing. All in all it gave enough information for you to be able to perform the routine but that’s about it. Story time!The day this showed up to my house, I was headlining a comedy show that night. The host told me that it was one of the comedians in the shows birthday. And if I could do a trick with him. Of course and this was gonna be perfect. It’s balls and bags. The jokes basically right themselves! 😈😈😈. That being said. I sent the comedian a snap explaining the Quinn system. He got it right away. When the comedian got to the venue, I ran through with him just a general outline of what’s gonna happen. I told him how the entire thing is just going to be off the cuff (that’s how I perform) so I explained my plan for the routine so he had an idea where he could jump in with out compromising the routine (making jokes during moments that are important for the routine to work. Nothings more fun than giving instructions and someone starts making jokes 😆.) I ran through the queuing system, but he already had it down. It’s a none verbal queing system that’s clever and easy to learn. I get introduced to the audience, I do my opener then go into a. Whole bit about me and this comedian used to work together. I start to set the stage but make sure the focus was on the idea that the comdian has this weird skill of being able to know what color balls a person holds 😆. I wanted the audience to see that he was the one doing it, I was just there to add the flare 😆. A couple times I was nervous that he might not have gotten the Que. but nope! It was a 100% HIT! The audience lost their mind and this person who’s never performed a trick in his life just blew the minds of everyone there! What’s killer is I was resetting the routine while performing it 😆. So by the end of it, I could have jumped in and started again. So if you want a routine that packs small, plays big, has lots of audience involvement, a lot of room for comedy, and can hit hard! This is a routine for you.
